I'd like to ask: Which editing software do you use when editing GT5 Photos?

The reason I asked this, is because I thought this would be a good reference for starters who don't know a lot about editing (I'm included :D), and you can express your opinions freely on this thread! (Don't bash the others, please.)

Edit: Whoops, forgot to add in Paint.NET :p

Well, you could add Aperture as well, it's not that I use it, but it exists.

And I'm a GIMP user, it's a bit clumsy, hangs constantly on a Mac, etc but it works. :p

I'm too honest to download PhotoShop illegally, and too poor to buy it, so I use GIMP for editing.

Yeah, +1.

And I seem to have misplaced the opacity settings in GIMP, so I'm having some slight issues with layer editing. :p

Adobe Photoshop CS5 - I use it for work so it is my tool of choice for any Gran Turismo editing.

GIMP, but slowly switching to CS5

I use CS5.1

Because I'm so loaded. LOL!

Photoshop.

because post-processing GT5 photos isn't the only thing I'm doing with it.

Can you even edit pictures with Paint? I mean apart from cropping and drawing on them

GTuned uses Paint.NET. With the right plug - ins, it's as good as Photoshop.
Used to use that a very long time.

I was talking about MS Paint, not Paint.NET :dopey: (which is really good imo)

I used both GIMP and Paint.NET, but I only voted for GIMP :p Sorry guys for not adding Paint.NET into the list! :D

Both CS5, Photoscape/Paint.net and on some occasion i combine all (CS5,Photoscape,Paint.net).

Well, would Photomatix count? Since it's mostly a combo of that and GIMP.

Mostly Photoshop but sometimes I use GIMP

I use Adobe Lightroom 3 :)
No layers but very effective.

I voted "other" too cause I'm using Photofiltre, a small ultra limited software.
I'm not even sure I can say I'm a photo editor...

Photoshop CS5 for GT5, Lightroom for my real photography :p

Back in my (early) GT4 days, I used to use GIMP. Now days I use Photoshop CS2.

Could you add : Flickrs programm picnik

Other than that I started to crop w adobe photoshop :)

I wish I had Photoshop, but I'm poor, so I use the next best thing: GIMP. And you can have the best photo editing software ever, but it's only as good as Paint in the hands of somebody that doesn't know how to use it.

Paint.net, Gimp, Photo Impression, Photoshop, ... not necessarily in that order. Sometimes I use more than one program to get the desired affect. Each has its own distinct plug_ins and when combined, it looks great.

Regular pics: Lightroom -> Photoshop

HDR's: Photomatix -> Lightroom -> Photoshop

Panoramas: Photoshop (photomerge) -> Lightroom -> Photoshop

Sorry, but you can't add an option to the poll, once it's started
Which is also why I added 'others' to the range of options,
Of course, you could also reply and tell us which of the ones you use.

Paint.net because I'm familiar with it and I'm afraid to test out new waters ._.
I also use paint.net to do my pixel art :dopey:

Edit: Whoops lol just realised this thread is old thread and I jsut dug it up D:
