Which EVO for wet races?

Evo VI GSR T.M.E or Evo VI RS

I'm trying the TME now but it's having some troubles I was going to see if the RS would do better in the rain because it's lighter and would be easier to handle.. the TME can beat 1 and 2.. but can't keep up with the third one worth a damn..

what setup should i use? parts/tires/etc

What kinda tires are you using... I ran this race with T8, just cause I had a pair from WRS stuff. Of course, I also used an MR2 GT-S :dopey:

I'd go with the RS, up the power, slap on a top notch sussy, and some T8 tires, weight, ya know, tune it out decently.

Street cars and the Rally races are a bit tricky. Might just take one of the rally cars you've one and try that.

Or maybe just upgrade your TME a bit more...

I was having trouble last night in my Evo VII RS. Had to crank the power up to around 580hp just to beat it. I was understeering everywhere. Might make the swtich to a Evo VI TME since they tend to get sideways easier.

-i tried sport tires (going with logical thinking that says slicks=death in rain) and i boosted the TME to 400hp with simple mods and it was spinning out all over the place lol.. or just sliding into the wall... i figured because it was too heavy..

i'm racing those races so i can win a rally car lol.. should i turn on TCS? i've been doing it without.. TCS gives me a whole crapload of understeer...

EDIT: HOLY CRAP T8s own.. on the 2nd rain race (the one i've been doing to get money) i tested em out same setup powerwise but with the T8s and i completely owned the other car.. but why? wouldn't superslicks be death in rain? (i should know.. i drive my bald wide tires around in rain.. wee... is that a programming error or a glitch or something?

Cause they aren't super slicks.. they are softs... different compound, and different hardness. Also, its GT3 :S

If you are having issues with understeer, just switch to a different RWD car... like an MR2 <_<

I would pick the Evo VI RS that cars awesome. There's no need to turn on TCS for this race with the Evo VI. You should be fine as long as you corner pretty good.

Aren't all the tires in that class slicks of some discription?
Slicks meaning no tread, no tread meaning major hydroplaining.
That would be some kinda oversight.

yeah.. i figured the slicks would cause hydroplaning... oh well.. whatever works.. the TME can probobly take the next evo.. or should I put money into the RS?
