Which Halo to buy for online?

Best Halo mulitplayer

I am looking at getting one of the Halos for online, either Reach or Anniversary, I dont really know which one to go for though based on its online experience.

Primarily looking for good community base, good maps and a generally good multiplayer structure.

Any help appreciated!
 
They're both the same really, as Halo Anniversarys Matchmaking is exactly that to Halo Reach. Except it has Halo 1 maps which incidentally can be bought for Reach.
 
I would get Halo: Reach. It's very fun, and anniversary is essentially the same thing, with different maps. Those different maps can be bought for Microsoft points as well, so unless you want Halo: Combat Evolved's Campaign to play, (Which can also be bought for Microsoft points) then get Halo: Reach.
 
I would go for Reach. It's probably cheaper than Anniversary and I assume it has also sold more copies meaning more people online. Anniversary uses the same multiplayer from Reach, but I don't think you can access the different maps in it, only the Combat Evolved maps. I may be wrong though, and please, someone correct me if I am.
