Which HD TV????

I need help and information about these. I was looking at a Panasonic Viera TH42PX70, what do you guys think of it. Which is better LCD or Plasma, I know Plasma is for bigger screens. But which is better considering most of my viewing would be in SD.
Any comments and help would be great and thanks in advance, I'm completely lost, far far too much choice!

They are getting better, but Plasma screens will burn in a static image. LCD's don't.

Also, and I'm not sure how OTA HD is in Europe, but if you're going to send the audio to a receiver, the TH42px70 only has RCA outputs. A negative in my book, but if it's not mated to a receiver, it's not an issue.
