for those who have iPods, which one do you have? i have a 512mb shuffle. I didn't want anything that big, and this one is easy to take care of 👍

I used to have a 30GB Video one. It was very cool, but the battery charge doesn't last too long on those things.

I'm a "No-pod". I don't see why they are such a big deal at all. There are other mp3 players out there that do just as good of a job I think. iPods aren't worth the premium price to me.

(But I wouldn't turn a free one down:sly: )

2nd gen 4gb mini in silver. It's ok, but i haven't really used it much recently. The battery is beggining to go.

I've not got an ipod either.

I've got a 20GB Sony NWA3000 that I'm more than happy with.

60 GB White iPod 5G

Video capability is nice, but I don't really use the iPod much (music or video). My brothers and sister use it more than I do; it's practically theirs. I'll probably get a Nano soon so I can run with it.

I don't have an iPod, I've got an iRiver H320 (20GB) with ROCKbox firmware. 20hrs continuous playback rocks!

My sis has a black 1gb Nano though.

I have a white 30 GB iPod Video. The battery on mine can run for a good 10-12 hours, which isn't too bad. :) Gotta keep it from getting scratched though.

4GB mini that I use for running and working lawncare/landscaping in summer, and a 60GB video for in the car, home, wherever.

I was going to sell my first one, but found I use it still quite often for the above reasons and keep different music on that one.

I've got one of the minis (silver, 4GB) from about a year back, and I have enjoyed it. I've contemplated jumping ship to iRiver or several times, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Damn trendy gadgets!!!

I bought a 20 GB iPod last year (fourth-gen). A few days ago though I bought a new MacBook, so I got a free 2 GB iPod nano, which will now become my primary music player; the older one will become my backup HD.

MY 40GB Gen-IV one has just died. I'm still evaluating whether to replace it.
I also have a 40 Gig 4th Gen iPod. Mine has also died... it was having hard drive problems since December 2004. I sent it into Apple, yet they didn't replace it when it was first having problems while still under warranty. Now, almost a year and a half later it has finally bit the dust.

2 of my friends have those. One has a 6gb in that colour, and the other has a 20gb in purple. They do look very nice indeed, but they both say that the bundled software is awful. Still, wouldn't say no to one :)

Jon.

The bundled software was the worst program I had ever used. They've updated it now and, while still being far from great, is a vast improvement on what it was and is very useable. So, tell them to get the patch from Sony.

I don't own a MP3 player. I don't need one. Every time I go someplace, my kids are usually with me and I gotta keep track of them.

I would like one, though. There are times when I could use one, but it's not often enough for me to get one. Yet.

My oldest boy has one. A Zen... photo... mini... something or other. It has 4GB. He loves it.

Ooo, will do :)

i've got a 30gb video witch i mainly keep in my car to be honest as its connected into my car stereo, so it just sits in the glove box, quite handy though as it charges while its plugged in so if i ever want it for college its always fully charged. i like it but it does scrath to easily :(

Scratching doesn't bother me at all. I bought the player to play music and the scratches do nothing to hinder that. Although if you use the iPod for video and picture viewing, I suppose scratches can be annoying.

I have a 60GB black video. I have around 54 GB of music. (I thought that was a lot until Diego440 said he had a terabyte!)

I got an iPod Mini which was my first iPod, but then bought a normal 40gb iPod because the Mini wasn't big enough. I prefer the look of the Mini tho.
