Do you feel the Cars or the Tracks are more important or equally so?

I get fed up reading all these unofficial lists of cars. I feel that the tracks are very important, in fact i care about the new tracks more than the new cars. When they choose to include about 500 cars you know there is gonna be a ton that you like, but there has been limited news about the tracks, and only 3 tracks have been confirmed (yes they are all new and that is great news.)

I would love to hear Polyphony saying that they have decided to include all tracks from previous Gran Turismo games plus Bathurst and Spa or something. That would make my day. Rather than them just saying they have put in 32 types of the Nissan Skyline!

I agree. More and new tracks is for me the most important together with improved ai and more challenging races.

/D

i love to see new tracks
but i am more into the cars and what can be done with them

need more tracks but i think cars are very importaint to, i mean are u gunna love it if its all vitz and beetles?:odd:

All vitz an beetles? :dunce: For me I don't care if the choise is between a mercedes slr or a 575M.. There will be a mix of fast, luxury, sports, racing, compacts and so on as in all previous gt:s. More important for me is what I put in the post above.

The more tracks, the better. If there are going to be so many cars, I hope that the garage can fit all of them. I am the type of player who wants to collect as much as possible in each game.

You make a good point about the Skyline. I would rather have confirmed tracks than 32 Skylines.

I agree with tracks being important as well. I said this exact thing in the thread about which tracks do you want.

I think the best thing they could possibly do is ALWAYS keep the tracks from previous games. I mean come on guys... the models are already drawn, textured, and the work is done. Just put them on the damn DVD that has $hitloads of space and can easily fit them all on and make tweaks to fix it for the next installedment. And keep us all happy and moving forward. ANd of course create the new installment of tracks to keep on par with the huge amount of cars.

50,000 Cars = Lots of Play time
3 Tracks to race 50,000 cars on = A bad game. (and i hope its not like this and i'm sure it wont be.. but i exagerate to show a point to the less smart of us amoungst us lol).

Give me all the 2003 Formula 1 Tracks and the F1 cars and their great, realistic F1 handleing. And 4 player split screen link up with no limits on the tracks we race. And i know many ppl that would be happier then then the the Jorgon Girls make-up removalist guy. :D ;)

Tracks! you'll always get a good car selection in GT.

They're equally important to me. I like variety in race tracks just like I like variety in cars.

Why can't we have both? Ummm...equally important.

i dont think all the current f1 tracks are that good lots have been dystoyed by chicanes and stadium sections look at hockenheim they messed that up completly. and imola is full of chicanes to. and those tarmac run of areas riun the look of tracks and just make them look ugly.

With a confirmed 500+ cars, more tracks. Unless it is going to be 150 different 100HP Ricers like in GT2, then I pick cars.:D

Can't say I care much for F1 tracks although monaco in GT3 has got to be one of the best looking tracks (& isnt avalible in 2 player :irked: )

Personally I could cope with 4 decent tracks & 1000 cars :)

But 50+ average tracks (Which 25 are probably crappy reverse versions) would make me fall asleep like in GT3 ;)

they are both as important as each other but they need tracks that suite the cars they put in as most of the tracks in gt3 were only fun in fast cars and race cars but boring in slower cars.
They shuld have tracks that small cars will be fun drive.

i would like to see it to but i doubt they could fit it in and imagine programing the ai for a 12 mile lap.

I'm telling you there should be more nudity, naked umbrella girls I say.

calm down drifster, i believe they are equally important.

There is gonna be 50 tracks in GT4 going in one direction.... There are 20 tracks in GT3 going one direction.... 30 NEW tracks!!!! :D :D :D :D

I damn well hope so. Is that official, or just an estimate?
