Hello everyone. I've just moved into a new apartment, and need to pick up a new monitor for my gaming PC. I'm looking for something that is just able to play my PC and PS3 with. I would prefer not to go any bigger than 26" and I would like the bezel to be small enough that if I decided to add two more screens, it wouldn't really be too big of an issue.

I am currently leaning towards the Asus VX248H. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

Not a suggestion on what brand, but 120 hz monitor instead of a 60 hz monitor. Didn't look at the one your thinking of just a bit of info. I didn't think it be that big a deal, but now wish I would of spent the bit extra for them.

Is 5ms 120hz?

No 5ms refers to response time and hz refers to the refresh rate of the monitor. The 120 hz monitor will give a much, much smoother image with fast moving objects (everything while racing) on the screen. A 60 hz monitor you will see more stuttering of the image as it moves across the screen.

I can't seem to find any hz details on any of the monitors over here in Japan. They only give the response time.

Yeah you will probably need to go to the manufactures website for whatever monitor your considering to get that info. Its worth the extra effort and expense in my opinion though.

While you're at it you could keep an eye on what monitors are Light Boost compatible. It's meant to cut motion blur to crt-like levels. Though I don't use lcd and haven't experienced it personally.

From what I have found on it they claim 75hz. I say claim because that is what my monitors said also. My monitors only show a refresh rate of 60hz in game and on windows, not sure what the 75hz is supposed to be. Tried the overclocking method on monitors and also couldn't get them to 75hz, I did manage to get them to work at 70hz.
