Didnt Mclaren do something to the engine to make it go 240, im pretty sure a road legal F1 wont do 240 but more around the 230 range.
 
The world record in the guiness book of records is somwhere between 231-235Mph, the 242Mph was achieved after tha catalyctic converter was taken off making the car illegal on @UK roads but giving it a power hike as well.
 
In Motortrend it said that none of those three will be in GT4. Oh well...
 
just wondering which motortrend that is? Also who is the quote from, someone who really knows or is motortrend just speculating. if you could provide a direct quote that would be great.

There is another thread here that has the link for the Motortrend article, but if you have the magazine, it is in the November 2003 issue. And I would think that it was a reliable source since they are the first ones to have the pictures that are in the magazine. Doesn't bother me any bit though.

On the intital subject though, I would rather have any lambo or ferrari. I just don't care for having actual porsches. I mean, I really don't mind if ruf is with us again for a gt.

They wern't the first to have pics in a magazine, it was in Japan, also that comment is pure speculation, I wouldn't put my money on it either way cos outsde of PD and Sony, no one knows.
 
i want them all but i just like lambos and i hope one day they make a car that can match or beat an f1 but i like them to
