What is so good about the Tickford? It handles like a log and can't go too fast. 210 mph max.

well being an aussie and seeing the street versions almost everyday, of course i'm going to like it.

and it isn't built to take on GT or LM class cars, 600hp NA 5 litre V8 weighing in at 1.4t and is only moded from the production Xr8.

I dont know why everyone calls it a "Tuscan speed 12" because it is actually not a tuscan but a CERBERA. TVR built a new Speed 12 because they wanted to compete in the British GT championship after the original was banned. The original had flaws in its design as well such as too many welds in the roll cage which made it hard to ged the chasis geometry correct as well as cente mounted pipes. TVR chose the cerbera body to work on and managed to eliminate the faults. so there you are (it also says on the side of the car if you look) it is a CERBERA SPEED 12 (i admit the headlights look very tusacan-ish).

Must confess I've a soft spot for the Tickford Falcon.

Yes, it's partly because I'm Australian.

But - if you've ever seen these things live, the sound and the violence of the V8 tourers is something else.

I was a huge fan of the old BTCC 2.0 litre super tourers, and I thought the V8's would die off in the face of that series, but it's in its 9th season and as strong as ever.

For all you overseas people - check it out. There's only two manufacturers, but they put on a hell of a show - plenty of cars, good racing...

maybe it does. but the V8 Touring cars dont.
if they had the HRT Commodore in gt3 it'd be sweet.

i'm watching Bathurst atm, one ot the biggest aussie races for the year and the biggest for the V8's. 1000km (161 laps) of the Mount panorama track. great stuff.

I picked "other" because none of the above cars except F1 and viper are good! I stick with RX-7 LM or Loctite skyline.
If the Falcon were as good as it looked..i would have voted for that one.
