which one for 24hr le mans FGT/MINOLTA 88CV

Is it possible to use an FGT at night? i dont think so but just to be sure. If not i am planing on using my minolta 88cv. i can beat the cars in the day easily with both. it will take me a while to do this out here though.
 
It's possible to use it at night, but you won't have lights.
 
The Red Bull X2010 has lights... I recommend using that. I wouldn't race at night without lights so I'd actually use the Minolta instead of the FGT if you can't get a Red Bull from the Vettel challenge.
 
Minolta or the Toyota GT-One (TS020).

I've done it with the GT-One the first time, next one I will do it with the Audi R8 Race Car (Premium), and then the Peugeot 908 (Premium too).

Who said need? I wouldn't want to sit through an endurance race without an X2010.

How is that sad? What if he just wants to finish the race faster? 24 hours is a bit of overkill to be honest... unless you really have nothing better to do.

its a TIME RACE how can it be won faster by using the x1 ???
 
you get do 20 hours and have enuogh lead to walk away and wait the last 4 hours?
 
Pfft... Use a GT1 car in the Le mans... And win. Now that's manly. No stupid X2010s.
 
I've found that if you use a car that is close to the rest of the field you have a much better time with a bit of a challenge.
 
LOL, this was almost the exact question I posted here a while ago :D ! I only had and used the FGT for grinding and the endurance races at that time (now I finally have the X2010's). So I wanted to know whether it makes sense to use the FGT for 24 h Le Mans because it has no lights. After the members here recommended not to use it for this reason, I used my Toyota Minolta.

P.S.: I will do the 24 h Nürburgring next week (the last race in A-Spec I have to gold) and I will use one of my X2010 :) !

I've not done the 24hr races, but I have watched B-Spec BoB do them in the FGT, it's just black, the only time you can see the track is when another car is in front or behind or near the pit straight and stands.
Driving line would help.

One person or a group of people do the event straight without pausing = 24 hours taken.
One person or a group does the event with an X1, leaves it at the 20th hour. Comes back 4 hours later and finishes the event. = 24 hours taken.

Although you wouldn't be playing, it would still take 24 hours to finish the race.

I think, there are two different groups of players:
- Those that do a 24h endurance for the fun and love of racing a whole 24h race ( using breaks as it took me 5 days for Le Mans and 3 days for Nürburgring ).
- Those that do a 24h endurance just to see a gold trophy on the event picture.

You know which group you belong, then the chosen car follows ;)
 
thanks for the information guys. I'lluse my Minolta CV for now. Want a little more of challenge than the X1. One day i find the R8, hopefully, even though i have 660 cars now. but thansk again. Also, i could do it in the X1, but the time to finsih will still be the same, 24hrs. as long as i win, im good
