For what use....

Track work?
Daily driver?
Hauling kids to football practice?
Towing?

A little more information would help us come up with some suggestions.

1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, but only with scissor doors.

BTW the Supra is JZA80 ;)

They are all great cars but I will choose for daily drive the Honda S2000 (AP1) or the Toyota Supra RZ (JZA80).

but if you need a car to transport more than 2 people or objects the Subaru Impreza WRX Sti is perfect!

And for race they are all great!

The MX-5 is certainly the cheapest, arguably most-reliable, and by days end probably the best choice.

I'd take a '96 or '97 M-Edition in a heartbeat if I could find one at a reasonable price, just about perfect.

I dont' think they sold the Eclipse in Indonesia, did they?

Probably the Mazda, although, If you're in Indonesia, and looking at an Eclipse, why not throw an older LanEvo onto your list, too? Same engine without the crank walk, better 4WD drivetrain.

Having never driven any of them, I'd say the STI will probably be the easiest to drive and fastest. It has AWD which is going to make it a bit easier to drive, and they can keep up with some cars that cost multiple times their sticker.

Although if you're heavily weighted toward the daily driving side of things, I'd imagine the STI's suspension would get old. Perhaps the Type-R? Maybe the FTO (which I know nothing about...)?

STi and AWD are just a bad idea. Over confidence issues.

How long have you been driving, SL4sh?

I've driven a lot of the cars on that list, and honestly, the most fun at any speed is the MR-S. 5/10ths or going all out, it is, as my friend put it, addictive to drive. Next picks would be the S2000 and MX-5, for much the same reasons. The MX-5 and S2000 are less likely to punish you horribly if you screw up at the limit as well.

Powerful cars are generally boring at 5/10ths. Especially the STi, which just feels like a rough Subaru unless you are going all out. I'd say avoid the GSX because, well, they blow up. A lot.

The Type-R has a harsh suspension as well. Would get tiresome on rough roads. The FTO is the only thing I have not driven or dealt with on that list, so I can't say on that matter. Also, on the matter of suspension, the MR-S has an excellent damper/spring combo for street use stock, to the point that I can't really justify changing them out yet. Composed on rough roads yet stable and fairly level at high speeds.

So, my picks, based on these criteria

Fun daily that you don't need to haul things or back seats - MR-S

Fun daily that you do have to haul people/things in - DC5 Type-R

In order of usability...

STI
Supra
FTO
ITR
Eclipse
S2000
MR-S
MX-5.

The last three are relatively a tie...Two seaters with little space for anything but two people. I've only been in an S2000 and MX-5 of those, and I know I'd rather be in the S2000 for longer periods. I can't personally justify an expensive two seater as an only car.

If I were to choose an order though, based on looks/speed/some usability, it would be this:

Supra (gorgeous, power, torque, 2+2)
ITR (basically my car's track-monster of a cousin, beats the S2000 because of the back seat, same track performance anyway, for the most part)
S2000 (great looks, great engine, so much potential)
STI (still good, but getting soft, it gets this rank from performance and usability)
MR-S (razor handling, MR, needs moar motor, no storage)
MX-5 (see MR-S, minus MR, basically a tie here)
Eclipse (despite the potential, I've never been a big fan of DSMs, also - time bomb)
FTO (just no opinion on these...)
