Which prize cars can't be re-won?

Yes, I did a search. No, I can't find time to sift through 100+ threads. I've read that everyone seems to regret selling their early prize cars; can anyone shed light as to which ones are lost for good once they are won?

if it is a series race then the car can be re-won... in a single race typre series you cant re-win the car...
 
cars can be re-won in enduros too
 
The only one that pissed me off that I wish I never sold, but I'm going to buy back from a friend of mine is the Nismo 400r the most under rated car in the game, the rest I've kept.
 
no need for anyother posts except check the prize car list out at gtplanet.net anything with multiple prize cars can be won again. anything with only one can be won once.

wait you sold a 400r...:lol:
 
actually the ones that stick out in my head in the merecedes clk touring car and the lancer rally cars.
 
I read the prize car list, that's not the question. I just never understood which cars could be re-won....the GTPlanet prize car listing doesn't make that clear.

So once I sell the Evo Rally Car, it's gone for good?
 
No pupik, if you know someone who has it, you can buy a copy from them, then they can buy it back and you'll have the $ you had and they can sell the copy for extra $
 
lol or if you have another mem card... save it twice and you can sell it and buy it back later

as i said before on the prize car list if there are three or four cars than can be won... you will be able to race again for any of hte cars shown...

however if there is only a single car and there are no color options that the prize list talks about... then the race can only be done once for cars...

you can also take vings advice... but there are some cars that can be one in series races ( which can be raced multiple times for one car) and in a one time only manner... that is y i told you to look at the list

pupik: Anything in the prize car list, where there is a single prize car, cannot be re-won. That one is it. If there are more than one prize listed, you will win a car each and every time you re-win the series or enduro, even if yoiu get multiple copies.

And for some reason, I have two prototype Evo rally cars. I don't recall where I won them both, but I'm sure the list will tell you.

You can rewin both, as many times as you want...

The series where you get the Acura RS-X (Beginner Type-R?) you can race repeatedly to get it again and again - as it's a series. Note that in the PAL version it's worth 75,000cr, so it's a good money-spinner. The Corvette C5-R seems to be the prize car of choice on the Super Speedway Enduro (although everyone who goes for it seems to get a Clio V6).

It's also worth mentioning that some cars can only be won one time, but they're not on the list because you can buy them at the dealer. Prize cars sometimes come in special colors, though, so there are some colors of some cars that you can never get back if you sell them

I wish I hadn't sold the CLK and the Vanquish. I really don't remember why I did.
 
That's funny, I'm trying to win the CLK Touring. Loved it in GT2...seems easy enough to win.

A n00b with over 2400 posts? I take it you spent plenty time playing GT2...

And I love the CLK Touring Car. The first time I played GT3, I used the Trueno till I saved up enough for an SLK, then used it to win the CLK Touring Car, and used that for a very long time.
 
I don't know what we'd do without BBM...or Famine...:D

But, you forgot the Toyota Corolla Rally Car, and the SSubaru Impreza Rally Car...:p

The Corolla Rally Car and the regular Impreza Rally Car can each only be won once, but they're not on the list because you can buy them.

And dammit there are already too many rally cars on the list. For some reason I just don't care about keeping any of them just because you can't get them back. Cars like the 787B and Trueno S.E. are really cool, so obviously you want to keep them, but the Impreza Prototype is the only remotely interesting rally car you can only get once, and it's only got a little more power than the other ones. If I wanted an overpowered rally car, I'd just go all the way and use the Impreza LM or the FTO LM. As it is, I'm happy using the 206 for most rally stuff.

I suppose the Celica Rally Car is 30kg lighter than every other rally car except the underpowered Delta, so it's a little interesting.

Both of those can be won again. The C5R at Super Speedway Enduro, and the RSX in the beginner type R series.
As well there are two and only two opportunities to win the 787B.
One is the "Like the wind race" a race so damn boring it's almost worth not having a 787B. You also get one when you complete either 50% or 75%. I'd have to check the list.

Yes, I'm the ving of the GT2 forum. That's what attracted me to GTPlanet rather than granturismo.com, the fact people were still talking about GT2.

And I won the CLK Touring Car yesterday; so I'm keeping it!

Sorry if I have missed this before, but has anybody mentioned the mighy MINI!!!!!!! it cannot be bought on the pal version of gt3, im not sure about other versions, but it rules, and if ya sell it, its gone forever!!!! Actually its a bag of crap, but its nice to own :lol:

granturismo.com is pretty much dead altogether. There's about 1 post per day in the GT3 forum.

The Lightweight K Cup isn't the only place to get the Mini. You also have a 1/4 chance of getting it every time you do the Amateur League European Championship.
 
Oh yeah, sorry bout that I forgot, its just iv been reading old news and stuff, and that was 1 of the pieces, and forgot about the european cup (how could i forget :( ) sorry bout that mistake.
