One of the older Group B cars since they had more horsepower than modern cars, which are limited to 300 HP

i'm not sure speed, handling, hp wise which is best.
but if you go by looks alone, the stratos rally is a beaut!
i wish someone would come up with a good tune to control it though.
i've tried and have been unsuccessful.

The Stratos is an MR car, that thing is going to be wild offroad no matter what you do to it.

I remeber the Stratos from GT2 it was almost impossible to keep on the road.

If you take the Escudo out of the equation I would say the Delta S4, the fact it has both a super charger and a turbo does it for me

Delta S4 is great on road but horrible to drive on dirt

Stratos rally car can be won from the historic racing car cup. Why did you buy it?

Mitsubishi Lancer Super Rally Car, it's not just for fun it's called Super Rally car - it kicks butt, even the Delta S4 is slower with more than 100bhp extra.

Because Ididn't have the right car to do the challenge and to get it would cost too much money for a car i would only use once.

The 03 Impreza is a good one (I love Mitsubishi so it hurts to say that) but it is great ,knock TC off and drift to wins.

Delta S4, the Subaru's, Focus, Evo's

in roughly that order. they will all get you through the advanced rally (which take FOREVER) with minute + total wins, then again I could be a GOD among children....

even on tar i spin the crap out of it like the stig did.
the rs200 is mr and it drives like a dream (my 2nd favorite rally)

if i had to choose one solely on performance, i'd probably choose the mitsubishi lancer super rally

Despite being similar cars as such, the character of the RS200 and the S4 is completely different. I find the RS200 quite easy to drive, it understeers a little and is composed and pretty stable. The S4 is a lot wilder by comparison and needs much more cautious settings to tame, it feels more vibrant and exciting when you get a setting you are happy with however.

This was the same feeling about the cars I got from the PSP version, which you preferred was down to individual taste. The Peugeot 205 Evo II was a car I never quite got the hang of however and found it a decent bit slower and wilder than the others. Not spent much time with mine in GT5 yet to make a call.

For me, sheer power is the Lancia Delta S4's main strength, while I found the Toyota Celica GT-FOUR Rally Car (ST205) ‘95 to be much more manageable in corners.
