I really want to know because a friend and i have a drag competition on tgtt. And i already own the audi rs6.

Depends what your opinion of a road car is. As said before in many threads, not much will beat an enzo or a veyron in a drag race.

I believe it's the veyron, but it depends to what speed. Launch in 2nd. I say it depends because I recall reading on this forum that certain cars (possibly enzo, speed 12 etc.) can beat the veyron before certain speeds or after certain speeds.

Ford GT (No Stripe), Audi Le Mans Quattro, Viper ACR (Or any Viper for that matter), and basically anything else over 750HP. But Tuning is also a huge component. I constantly beat Ferrari 458 Italias with my Dodge Ram at Indy :D

Apart from the Bugatti, Enzo, blah blah i'd say that it is the GT-R Concept (Tokyo Motor Show 2001) It is a concept tho and i dont know if it counts as a road car, but its accelaration is amazing...!

Zz2 hands down I have decimated enzos, gtr,Mercedes, ferrari,a mike judds race car, ford gt this is the car to get!

You should race my Quattro :)

Every Drag lobby I enter has 7 GT-Rs owning everyone because the room owner has his GT-R out and kicked anyone in a Veyron, which is the only car that would challenge them in a drag race. 4WD high HP = win in a drag race. Just tune the trans for full acceleration with a decent 169-190 top speed. I'm talking about Indy Road course drags, not the 1 mile SS7.

No car in the game launches better than the Subaru WRX Sti '10 (For it's PP that is). I run this car at Eiger Nordwand Short Track frequently and nothing seems to be able to catch it unless i make a few small errors. At 550 PP i can post 1.01:370, purely because of that low speed get up it has. As far as no PP restriction, it would have to be the Enzo or Veyron, which both understeer worse than a semi truck.

my ford GT eats GTR's

the ZR-1 with a tiny bit of TCS on can hang with just about any road car in a drag.

I've raced probably 100+ vetts by now none of which were even competitive. Maybe with an R34 or Mustang but not with GT-Rs, Vipers and Enzos.

Well that's funny because in real life a ZR-1 would destroy a Viper and keep pace with a GT-R and Enzo.

Check Youtube there is a video of a ZR-1 vs a GT-R and a Shelby GT500, the GT-R won the quarter because it got traction, and the vette came in 2nd about 1.5 sec behind.

Yea well its also funny how in real life people don't upgrade their Vipers to 1000+ hp. Each car upgrades differently. The NSX and Skyline stock have around the same horsepower. But when upgraded to the max, the NSX has around 450 while the skyline pushes 800...

The GT-R V-spec '09 flies off the line with some right tuning.

edit: I see it's been discussed already :p

My Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX RM is stupid fast accelerating with a moderate top speed. Look's badass too.

Im sorry to say but your completely wrong, nothing can beat a veyron on launch, acceleration and top speed and the only thing that will beat it is the X1 but i don't even call that a car. And you launch in 1st on the veyron too.👍

A well tuned GTR will keep up pace and even sometimes beat the Veyron to 60mph, after which the Veyron will leave the import behind.

Then you aint seen my fast tuned veyron. the one you dragged was an experiment lol.

lol my Le Mans would beat my Veyron off the line.

I've seen some pretty beast GT-Rs, would be interested to see how your Veyron does against KRAVENRAW's or IZ_CAPN_SMOKE's GTR ;)

Hi, The '94 McLaren F1, NCD, is pretty good, tuned: 879Hp @ 970Kg. (1Mil.) The "power to weight ratio" is nearly 1Hp/Kg which is not bad for a road car...Tune it up though; racing soft tires, rear toe +0.2, front toe -0.1, front camber 2, rear camber 1...etc...If you want to corner with it ...The Veyron has more Hp but more weight... Have fun.
