Just wondering which one of the super expensive cars that people are saving for?

Is it the gorgeous XJ13 that sadly never saw a race track. The 330P4 that sounds so glorious and was part of such a golden era at Le Mans along with the awesome Ford Mark IV and it’s terrifying straight line speed. Or maybe the first and arguably most beautiful Lamborghini, the Miura. Who can forget that opening scene in the Italian Job with it’s V12 howling in the mountains...

Or how about the most expensive car in the world today. The Ferrari GTO. Never really seen the appeal to be honest! I think the 250 LM is far better for starters. Can’t remember much about the Shelby sorry. Something about an old British sportscar with a massive American engine added then later streamlined. Not quite in the same class as the cars above in my eyes.
 
Well, i have already grinded for the XJ13 and the 250 GTO, i won a couple of 330 P4's, so the Shelby Daytona is next , then the Ford Mark IV and then eventually the Miura. Don't know about everybody else but i'm loving the new grind, it's just so much fun, went from 2.2 mill to 8.7 mill last night , the Daytona shall be mine later today. Happy grinding all ! :cheers:EDIT: Woot ! got my Coupe and hit lvl 50 !...Ford's next....

The Jag XJ13. Absolutely beautiful automobile. Id like to do/grind the new GT events. I know the 330P4 is faster by a few seconds in the new grind at LeMans, but I would think the Jag could still win that event.

I love them all, so it'll be a hard decision. Probably rooting for the 330 P4, a beautiful car. But I could also go for another car which I love, the Ford GT40 Mark IV.
Difficult to choose for me, but these two are my top spots currently.
 
I won an XJ13, and love driving it on the new Nostalgic series. I want a P4 to go with it, not so fussed over the 250 - will buy the 15m ones before it.

I keep spending money on other things though, because 20m can go so much further elsewhere so am being patient and perhaps the wheel will deliver something before then. When I run out of cars to buy I'll finally buy that P4!

The XJ13 drives brilliantly. I have heard good things about the P4. I don't think the 250 would be the best first choice, a bit underpowered.
 
Got the P4 as a daily a while back and recently bought the XJ13, which leaves me with the Miura, Daytona and 250 GTO to go.

Currently sitting on 5.5mil Cr. and was saving for the 250 GTO, but with the arrival of the Daytona I'm gonna go for that one first.

Of course, I never miss out a day of the daily workout, hoping to get lucky :D

In terms of how fast they are going by real life performance I would say this is fastest to slowest:

Ford Mark IV
Ferrari 330P4
Jaguar XJ13
Shelby Daytona
Lamborghini Miura
Ferrari 250 GTO

Lucky sod. I'm still waiting for my first one. Just done the daily challenge at 1am and yeah another Megane.

Maybe this is karma for using the credit glitch in GT6 and then never appreciating the cars I bought...
 
I got the P4 as a birthday car. I'm going for the Mark IV now. I would have wanted the Miura if not for these events. Maybe I'll get the Miura next.
 
The 250 GTO definitely. My favourite classic car of all time alongside the Jaguar D-Type (long nose variant). Already have the 330 P4 and it is brilliant.

Luck has nothing to do with it. I own 2 rubber bands and use them regularly ;-)
 
I already have the 330P4, XJ13, 250 GTO so i'm saving money in order to have the others, the next one i'll buy should be the Shelby followed by the Miura ... at the end the (first) 20 mio. Ford Mark IV.

In the next upgrades we should have a 10 milions Alfa Romeo (tz2) and another 20 Milion Ford GT (the 1969 racing version) .. if Pdigital will import the cars (and pricing) from the previous GT.

I hate the 20 milion limit ... i repeat

The track was noticably faster back then - no Dunlop chicane, no Porsche curves, no Corvette curves - and the Ford is faster in a straight line but the modern corners give the lightweight Ferrari a great advantage.

Power difference was biggest problem. The 330p4 had around 450 with it's 720kg, and Mark IV had around 530hp with 1100kg I think. Now, 330 has advantage on modern tracks as you said due to the lightweight, but back in old days, there were basically 4 straights, so Ford had top speed advantage.

I have always loved the mark four GT40. Such a pretty machine. Very powerful and a great history along with the rest of the GT40s.
Unfortunately, the #3 car driven by Mario Andretti and Lucien Bianchi wrecked after it's brakes locked up. Mario, who was driving the car at the time, walked away from the wreck. At that moment two MKIIB GT40s also wrecked trying to avoid the incident.

No one because I'm tired of grinding Blue Moon. From now I'm just gonna rubber band, even if that will make my daily workout page look bad.
 
I'm not a huge fan of the MkIV... like everyone else I love the iconic Mk2... even with the 2004 GT and the current version, nothing comes close to the Mk2.

To my eye none of the replicas come 99% close to the real thing.

I would love a replica one day like the Superformance but these are even heaps more expensive than a Daytona or Cobra replica and those are already super expensive.

I feel like a GT40 Mk2 race edition is coming to the $20 mil. club. There was already quite a few in GT6.

I like all of the original GT40s. But my favorite GT40 over the MKIV would have to be the 1967-1969 MKIII. The MkIII I feel doesn't get the attention it deserves. It was ONLY a road car with seven made. They had "luxurious" features such as an ash tray and were available in left hand drive. Four of the seven were ordered with LHD. Also, no sim racing game ever featured the MKIII. So it would be very neat of PD introduced it.

Picked up the GTO about 3 weeks ago and now setting my sights on the xj13 and then probably daytona, mk4, 330 and miura last. Will probably take a while as I mostly play sport mode and im not doing the same race over and over to get them quicker.
