First of all, this is a superbly useful and informative forum of which i'm happy to now be a member of :) Anyway, which of these do you lot think is the best idea:
Save up 10mil, buy 10mil Alfa. Or, save up 20mil and buy (my first) X2010? Thanks in advance

To be honest, neither. The Alfa is a prize car for the A-Spec Historic Racing Cup (as far as I know) and the X1 can be won (with some difficulty I admit)

Yes i know, but a) my bob is too 'incomplete' to win the historic race, and b) i cant be bothered wasting hours amay trying to win a car in a colour which, tbh, i dont like. (RedBull Livery). Plus, none of the 20mil 'Historic Race Cars' really interest me. :P

Same as Veyron's post: Neither. The Alfa is won in B-Spec Historic Cup, and the X2010 is won by bronzing the Red Bull Challenge, if you want S. Vettel's version. However, both of them is very challenging (X2010 Challenge is 100 times worse than the Historic Cup, though). If you don't want to bother doing the events, then buy them. But I suggest buying the X2010 instead of the Alfa, though.

If you're thinking about getting the X2010 from a 2010 ticket, disregard. It's confirmed that you can't get it from the ticket.

Considering the x3 Seasonals, it will be a lot easier earning the credits back, anyways. And If you don't want the S. Vettel livery, you can go for silver, which will be even harder. I think you get a plain-colored X2010 if you reach B-Spec level 35/30, but I'm not sure.

Don't blow your money on either because the old Alfa can be won from some event but i'm not exactly sure which one and the X1 can be won as well but it's very hard to win and you will be kicked in most lobbies if you take it out because it's just a "dumb" car that has way to much power.

You get a redbull vettel X2010 when you reach level 35 B-spec. coloured you have to buy when your level 40 A-spec or achieve all silver in the vettel challenge.

You will be rewarded with both of the cars, latter. There's no point of spending money for them.

How to get each X2010

Proto: gold vettel challenge
Plain: silver challenge, buy for 20 mil
Vettel: bronze challenge, b-spec 35

Should see if one of your friends can let you borrow the X1, then let your bob run races to build your B-spec up until you get your own free Red Bull X1. Find a AC Cobra or Shelby Cobra (won in classic muscle car challenge) to run the historic race A-spec, then use the Toyota7 (won in B-spec Like The Wind - use the X1 to win those races) to win the B-Spec Historic Races and you'll have your Alfa.

He said A spec and the car isn't that fast compared to others IMO the XJ13 is a prize car, if your going to buy it make sure it's not a prize car
