Which toothpaste do YOU use?

Hey, what brand of toothpaste do you use and why? Are there any you have tried and hated?

I have just started using Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon, the one from the commercial with Emeril Lagasse going BAM! and waking his whole family up (lame-o). The one I absolutely hate is Sensodyne Baking Soda (comes in a white and pink tube). It has a taste which resembles the bowel movement of a hippopotamus.
 
I like the "baking soda and peroxide tartar control" toothpastes because they dont have that sweet, minty taste. They just taste like baking soda mostly, which is a lotter better than that disgusting strong mint flavor. I think right now I am using Colgate, but I like Arm & Hammer best. (Or Tom's of Maine, but it's hard to find and expensive, and frankly, I'm not going to invest that much time into finding my friggin toothpaste.)
 
I've been a Mentadent fan for quite a while now. My wife tried a whitening toothpaste but it made her teeth hurt. :confused:
 
I used to use whitening toothpaste too, and it also made my teeth hurt. Dentists don't like whitening toothpastes because most contain abrasives which basically sand off your enamel to reveal the whiter enamel underneath.
Now I have to use sensitive toothpase, and I buy whichever one is the least expensive while I'm at the store, and they all taste minty. ;)

I have really sensitive teeth too. I've been using sensitive toothpaste for years and believe me, none work better than Sensodyne. It's worth the extra dollar or two because the longer you use it the better it works, literally.
 
my mom administrates an orthodontic office...so i can get all that sensodyne stuff for free.

i use the orange flavor whitening expressions though. anderton, emiril's commercial is with the orange NOT the cinnamon. the cinnamon is with that black teen kid in the bathroom. :D

orange is cool though. i like it. its like a more refreshing cinnamon.
 
Usually whatever is there. Right now it's Colgate Total, but the tube has the worst cap ever designed.
 
i have a problem. i feel bad that if i have kids, their toothpaste is gonna taste like total ass.

what happened to that really awesome tasting kids flavor? it was blue with sparkles and stuff. i was looking for it at the store just for the hell of it....i couldnt even find that junk. all the kids flavors now are disgustingly sweet and gross bubblegum flavor. if anything....that flavor should be banned. or at least renamed to something more suitable......like Ass or Toenail.

just think of the future flavor possibilities of toothpaste. they just made orange....im guessing the next big flavor will be fruit punch.....or some such crap.

kraft toothpaste....make your teeth............the cheesiest.

Are you even aware of what SPAMMING is? I don't think you do, because you just committed it. Whereas I, on the other hand, am innocent. I opened a thread to see what other users had to say, and so far not one Mod has threatened to shut it down. Oh well, if being reported is something you strive for, so be it.

I am sure I remember when that commercial first came out that it was for the Cinnamon, and because they've just come out with the Orange one they simply replaced the product shots and the commentary with new stuff for the new flavour. I've never seen the commercial you're describing, but yet I heard about the toothpaste on TV and that's why I went to get it. Oh well, I guess it's a mystery...

vanilla mint? wtf....i wonder if it will taste like old fashioned maalox. before they changed the mint flavor.

it used to be HELLA GOOD.

Well Viper Zero, as much as you may hate to hear this, Anderton, is correct.
Your post, was unnecessary, and can easily be interpreted as spam.

While Andertons' thread, however mundane, is a legitamate topic and isn't considered as "spam", but, your post is.
Whether you consider it as spam or not, it's really not the point. What you had to say was not relevant to the topic and it only reflects your feelings towards Anderton.
What you should have done, was not post at all.
Now believe me, I know how hard it can be to not respond to someone that you have a dislike for, but you need to control it. It not only makes you better, but it makes this community better. :)

I use Crest. It is a green gel stuff. I don't like the bubblegum toothpaste the dentist used to give me that Colgate made. It was awful.

Colgate Total + Whitening. I don't notice any whitening effects...
 
Crest Vivid White. Uh because it came with a kit but my sister stole the strips but I got the tube.
 
The stuff you brush on your teeth at night.

Me, I use any toothpaste my parents buy, as long as it does the job.:)👍
