Which track is this?

Hello everyone, ever since i got Gran Turismo 5 in Christmas 2010, i always wondered about something on the cover. One of the images on the back of the box shows bunch of karts racing but i never knew which track it was on...

Perhaps it's a removed track?

Looks like Piazza del Campo, the track that was cut before the release for some legal issues.
