In my quest to make pokemon the force it used to be i ask the question;

Which was the best pokemon game for game boy??

Theres many a choice ranging from red and blue to fire red and leaf green.

My vote goes to Gold, it was revolutionary in graphics and length for the game boy.

I used to like Silver and Pinball, but it isn't multiple choice so I'll go with the one I played most. Silver. 👍

Ruby/Sapphire.They're all the same, anyway.

Lmao well i am 16 but at a campin trip last week my pal brought his version of gold with him and we were hooked as if we were 9 again!!!

I bet u if you play it for a good 20 mins youll like it again

They are all basically the same, just different pokemon. That being said, I've probably spent about 10-15 hours on Sapphire on my GBA emulatorr. :D

Well, the gameboy is gone now, so I can't! :)

*waits for imminent arrival of PSP*

NOOOOOO dont say this is the death of pokemon!!!

ooh hard choice, red was the first i played and of course the one that left the best impression, closely followed by gold and silver, ruby and sapphire were good but i just didnt get into it as much as i had the previous games

Red will always be the best..
It was the one EVERYONE had...Red/blue that is..

The originals were the funnest because that was when everyone was still itnerested in the game itself...

once the other ones came out it was all about who can be the biggest fanatic of a crappy cartoon...

but Pokemon SNAP was also a fun game..

I also voted for Emerald (Other). It does seem to offer more than some of the earlier versions. For some obscure reason the UK release is not until October (I imported from Canada). I have beaten the Elite 4 and the Champion and have for the moment lost interest, though there is still stuff to do in the game such as catch the legendaries and do some more battling.

I have all the versions of Pokemon except for Pinbal.

I also have Pokemon Colosseum on the GC.

Silverzone
c'mon. they are fun games.. just with more a kiddie feel
Haha yeah, they were big even into Grade 7 and 8 in my school. :dunce: I played Red, Blue, and Yellow, and they were all pretty much the same minus Pikachu following you around everywhere in Yellow. I guess Red and Blue were the best, quite addicting games. Back then. Yes.

Yellow was BULL! You had to drag a weak pikachu around the game and if you got rid of it then the game would be no different from red and blue.
I liked Gold because it was a big game and there was lots of extra stuff in it.

Red/Blue could quite possibly be the best gameboy game ever.

I want to try that leaf green one or the emrald one or whatever it is.

Blue was the best! That bulbasaur was nuts, I say! I have crystal too, but something got lost when more pokemon where added. You know what always pissed me offf. The fact that there was seagulls and fish in the show. I only watched the first season when i was like 12 i guess. How come what they ate where never pokemon????Huh ? Why?

lol i was at the camping trip with bee and ......... erm ....... i was playing ruby @ 4 30 in the morning :dopey: lol

I had red.........one of the most played gameboy games I ever owned.....it had really immersive gameplay.....they should do a proper 3D one like on the Nintendo Revolution (something like zelda).....not that bloody Pokemon Stadium crap!

.....now im talking like Im 13 again!
