Stefano mentioned in the stream (and has mentioned before) that custom championships are coming but he didn't give any indication of when. But they're working on it. 👍

A career mode set up like Project CARS would be absolutely fantastic. I'd like both, though.

I would say custom championships but it would be nice to have something to unlock with it. I think I am a bit old school with that. I like to play to unlock stuff

If we should give "both" as an option, everybody is gonna pick "both" of course and we still don't know witch people would prefer.

General idea is if say a developer asked the gamers of GTplanet simply "you want us to do career or use the time to make Custom championship" which would you go for?
Obviously both would be preferable but would be an even more silly poll.

If it is executed well, it doesn't matter to me if it is career or custom championship.

For Assetto Corsa, I would be happy without offline career and special events if immersion and replayability are delivered via other features. Features that allow me to simulate the racing experience... "Your Racing Simulator."

• Time trial mode: world leaderboard, regional leaderboard, friends leaderboard
• Practice mode: free practice, track day
• Multiplayer mode
• Ability to select AI cars in custom championship and track day.
• Telemetry (A sim racer without telemetry??)
• Customizable HUD
• Greater customization of FOV
• Seat adjustment
• (for console) UDP. For all the issues with pCARS, they did a number of things right, including this game changer on console.
• More tracks. There has to be enough tracks for me to continue creating custom championships.
• DLC

If I had the above, I would not notice a missing career mode.

Because why not, when we have a "core" foundation like AC.
