I think it was 150 million World Wide.

I did! I thought it was very well done. The movie was not disappointing. I am just worried about the fall out of "bad" hero movies that X-Men is going to cause. I would recommend it to anyone that saw the first one.

On a side note, it also included the first full length glimpse I have ever seen on Matrix 2. Very cool.

I saw it too. It was much better than the first and leaves it open to an excellent sequel opportunity. I'm glad that it wasn't as neutered as the first one was (more hacking and slashing etc etc.)
I think that the Hulk is going to be the big loser as far as the Superhero movies is concerned, but Marvel really seems to be on a roll lately. Maybe it's time for another Punisher movie (better than the last one anyway.)

For the longest time I've seen things on the net about a Fantastic Four movie. Honestly, I think it might have a shot at being good, but I can't imagine it being all that popular as the FF aren't as high profile as the Xmen, Spiderman, Superman or Batman.

I didn't contribute to the fund over the weekend, but it's likely I will in before hte end of the week.

On a note about the glut of superhero movies coming out this summer, read this: http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/Movies/05/01/wkd.superhero.surplus.ap/index.html

Interesting in that it notes how Batman 1&2 and Superman 1&2 were very good, and the self destructed of the sequels.

They also note the FF movie, the Daredevil sequel, a new Punisher movie, the Ironman flick and Blade 3.

I did contribute it was an amazing movie very well worth the expence of the movie making and i agree with tom abought hulk, it will be a wast of money and it looks stupid from the previews the only good movies were daredevil, spiderman, x-man 1,2 but didn't they make a movie abought the fantastic four a while ago and i mean abought seven years ago or somthing because when i was younger i kept seeing previews of a movie with a flaming guy and a strong rock like guy and etc. i think it was the fantastic four if they make it again i think it will be an ok movie and by the way tickets up here in Great Falls Montana how is the ticket pricing in your (every ones) town or state:) :)

For an evening at the theatre, it looks like $9.25 per person, $10 for popcorn and a soda. So figure $40 to take my wife out for a movie.

It's a top notch theatre, with plenty of security guards to kick out unnecessary children. Expensive, but worth it to shell out a few Bucks.

You thought DareDevil was a good movie?

I saw it also. That will keep me happy until May 15 when Matrix Reloaded comes out. I'd already seen the trailer that showed with X2, but it was even better on a movie theater screen. 10 Days until it comes out, I can't wait.

Yeah, I went on Sunday night. It was one of those movies where on the way out I can't answer the question "Did you like that" or "What did you think". I always like that in a film.

Movies here are £5.50 for the ticket, but we have Unlimited passes for £10 per month.

I just thought about this, but what did you think of the great supporting role of the RX-8? It looked and sounded great! Thats an Oscar performance if I have ever seen one.

Well, I've just secured my tickets for tonights 8pm showing. Looking forward to it, as the reviews have all said "better than the first"

It's worth the cash. A few notes that I hope won't spoil it.

I'm certainly glad that they reflected more of Wolverines brutal side. Knowing some of his history, I was disappointed with how "Nice" they made him in the first movie.

The Appeance of the image in teh water at the end was excellent foreshadowing. Mystique was marevelous. Over all, I think it was a very well done film.

I'm certainly waiting for the new one.

Amid notes of sequels, It's been noted that Hugh Jackman has signed on to play Wolverine again, as well as entertained the thought of a Wolverine solo movie.

Now for my biggest gripe, and best missed opportunity. An excellent shot that could have parlayed into an excellent Wolverine solo story. And it would have taken all of 5 seconds to shoot.

This is a bit of a spoiler, and I apologize for that.

Near the end, when Wolverine rips his dog tag off, and tosses it at the feet of the Bad Guy then walks away. I would have like to have seen a close up shot of the tag. Then have Sabretooths hand come into view and pick up the tag. Split a widfe angle shot showing hte bad guy, and the woods as Sabretooth slips into the dark forest.

A simple shot, that they could have done with makeup on a hand, and then some guy in a heavy coat and big wig walking away from the camera.

But...they missed the opportunity.

All things considreed, I enjoyed it. I'll pick it up on DVD.

Now to wait fro the Matrix, Reloaded...
