Why is the Dream Car series races against cars like the RX - 7 LM, Alteeza LM, FTO LM, etc... I would think dream cars would exotics like The Panoz, The Speed 12, funky rare cars like that.

You know, I thought I heard of an LM racing once before, but it was for something retarded like Clio Sport Car Cup in france or something.
There is a racing team or tuner named ANYTHING. Do a search for almost any word with "race" or "racing" and you'll get some little family operation that runs dirt cars.
There is probabally 25 cars from different manufactures in GT3 denoted by "LM" but for the most part they have generic markings and absurd statistics. (1000 hp I-4, ME THINKS NOT!)
As much as some people want to believe that these cars exist, they do not, except in the imagination of the good folks at Polyphony Digital. This isnt to say that somebody hasnt, or wont try to build them.
There are other fake cars in the game. There is no Zonda Race Car. The whole Paigani company has build 9 cars so far. all of them Zonda C12 or C12s. A general Rule of thumb is that if a car is REALLY fast and dosent have a bunch of sponsor stickers all over it, its a fantasy car.
