I have been waiting for a good online port of this game for years and finnally its comming! The game will feature the GGPO netcode so online play will be smoother then ever and it will feature a youtube upload option to upload all your matches. The game will cost $14.99. It should be available sometime this summer add me on psn !!!!
 
Despite having sf2 back in the Amiga days (and having the high score at my local sf arcade cabinet), being a big fan of the alpha series, and logging extensive hours on SFIV and SSFIV, I never got the chance to play SFIII for a variety of reasons. I even got to try the terrible (imo) SF1, but haven't played SFIII at all.

I am definately buying this. I was a Street Fighter addict as a kid and even spent way too much money playing SF the movie, the game in one arcade. I'm a little ashamed to admit, but when SFIV was released, I spent 23 hours playing in the 24 hours since the game was delivered.
 
I was until I saw the trailer..... It does not appear to be remastered or enhanced and runs in a 4:3 "window". I've never played SF3. $10 or bust....
 
I'm not. I mean, I was at one point, but then I remembered that 3rd Strike was basically "Chun-Li, Ken and Akuma: The Game," so I don't see much point anymore. If this was Second Impact? I'd be all over it. And I'd murder for an online CvS 2. But its not.

But if Capcom don't plan on fixing the painful mismatches that 3rd Strike has (and they don't), I'm not gonna bother. I see enough Ken players in Super Ken Fighter IV: Sagat Strike, so I'm not going to spend $15 on a game that practically demands it. I have Anniversary Collection, and my PS3 plays PS2 games, so I'm good without online play.
 
I also have Anniversary edition on PS2 though now I need a PS3 that could play PS2. It is news to me but lets see if I actually get it to play my local rival.
 
A lot of old-schoolers love CvS2..Didn't Capcom say something about doimng something with CvS again?
 
I think that their rights to SNK characters is expired. That happened to MVC3 before it was brought back by popular demand. CVS2 somewhat died out when SF4/3S came along...
 
I have the anniversary collection for ps2 as well but you can't used my TE stick with it. never really been a fan of sf3 but for 15 bucks I I think its worth another look.
 
people who think the game suck and havent given it a fair shake really dissapoint me the game is wonderfull the animation is top notch and there is alot of strategy to it. if you wanna be narrow minded go ahead but your missing out on a gem of a game as long as online is smooth this games gonna rock

No they havent the only other thing in the possible pipe line is a Darkstakers game is a possiblity plus more reballancing in SS4 AE, MVC 3 DLC characters and of course TekkenX SF and SFx Tekken

Bump. The game is coming out tomorrow for SCEA Regions and Wednesday for SCEE Regions. Out of plain interest who Pre-Ordered it through PSNs PLAY Promotion?
 
I'll wait for the turbo world warrior hyper link super arcade version.
