KlostrophobicA Bachelor's of Architecure is a five year degree. I believe you must complete 3000 hours of work under a registered architect to complete the degree, as well. At least at the school I will be attending.
When you graduate, you then get to take an Architecture test to become a registered Architect.
Of course, I could be horribly wrong about all of this. But that's what I was told by my CAD teacher .
See I think we are talking about the same thing. Its just the name here in Florida is different. A 5 to 6 year degree is called a Masters here. Thats all I was saying. Here in Florida we have to do the same thing, intern with an Architect and then take a muti-part exam in order to be registered with the state. Which then you have to pay to keep up to date, plus atend ongoing education seminars.
