Who Should Call It Quits?Music

And NEVER stop supporting Bruce!! He is the man. WE just bought his new CD and it is JUST as good as 'Born to Run' in my opinion.

I thought I would be too bold to say that, but I have to agree. I still like 'Born to Run' better, but 'The Rising' is not too far behind. It is a really incredible CD, especially being done in two months. The good thing to 'The Rising' is that every song on it is listenable, so I haven't got to skip forward and the like.

And all these new punk bands need to just die and make way for the originals...Dead Kennedies, Green Day, GoldFinger, etc.

Yeah...Green Day and Goldfinger are "original" punk bands...unlike the Ramones or the Sex Pistols.

Klos,
I disagree with these:
Linkin Park, Blink 182, Sum 41, Creed, Papa Roach

I agree with you on just about everything I removed.

Those are the ones that I most agree with bimmer, All that "punk" and "hardcore" crap
The pop punk and pop hardcore is almost as bad as the real punk and hardcore

Bruce Springsteen should never call it quits

I just saw The Boss three nights ago at the Xcel, and I have to say he has not lost a step! We were front row, against the stage (yeah, Courtney Cox-close)! Even as I am posting this, Ramrod is kicking on my PC jukebox. I'm not a fanatic or anything, but this had to be one of the best concerts I have EVER seen.

If I were a street, my name would have to be E. The entire band is better than ever!

I laughed out loud when I saw Green Day referred to as an 'original' punk band, glad to see I wasn't the only one... :D Clash, Ramones, Pistols for me please.

My vote goes to No Doubt , I cannot stand Gwen Stefani or their type of music at all.

Gwens voice: Live, she's amazing. Perfect rendition of what's on the cd. The music is brilliant. People seem to find it easy to jump on the bandwagon and slate the new album, because it's not the same as the others. Thank god it isn't. Doing the same thing is awfully boring. They did something new. It's not bad, or poor. Just different.

How you can say anything negative about her voice is beyond me. Are you sure you are listening to the same No Doubt I am?

Agreed, I think Rock Steady is their best so far...

That's too bad. I was hoping everyone got over that crap.

NSync? Klos mentioned, but I'm singling them out.

Of course they SHOULD call it quits but hey, if I was a member I'd be cashing in as long as I could. Same with most of the talentless hacks Klos listed. I'd go for the $$$ before the kids grow up enough to get some musical taste and realize that my group sucks...

I'm sick of eminem's WHINING.
He tries so hard to be one tough mofo, but Britney Spears could probably kick his a$$.

I had a bit of a think about this. I nominate:

Sting

The Police were a groundbreaking band, great music, great songwriting - but Sting has over his time as a solo artist degenerated into producing middle of the road slop.
