ok, i cleared up a LOT of crap on my TOSHIBA(finally got the Vista "Service Pack that will still make your computer suck balls", and um... yeah, it still sucks), and finally got a better video card, sound card, and TONS more ram, but everytime i go to GTPlanet.net, i always have to click the Forums tab like eighteen freakin' hundred times for it to realize that's where i'm trying to go! idk if this is my internet connection, my router, my computer(likely), or GTP itself(if it's GTP, then crap).
 
Vista + IE (I assume) is to blame.

On my extremely old pile of garbage, I have a little lag between clicking the forum tab and getting to the forums, but that's just connection, the button animation itself goes down instantly.
 
If that's the only time and place where you have lag, then yeah, IE is probably screwing something up. I recall having problems with those main page buttons before, but I've had the forum's main page bookmarked for so long that I don't remember which browser I was using when I had the trouble.
 
So, the site isn't loading slow for you, you just can't get your browser to register the click? Does it seem to have trouble clicking all of the buttons at the top there? Does the problem occur across all areas of the site? Are you clicking on the text itself, or the black area that actually defines the button's area? Keep in mind that not all of the button's area is "clickable"...the curved right side of each button is actually not part of the link.
 
it's just the Forums tab. also, it's weird 'cause i have this problem with IE, FireFox, and Opera(i downloaded all 4 ISPs. why? dunno, i was drunk at the time), but not with Safari(and yet, Safari makes the rest of my comp lag like f-ing crazy!)

You probably mean browser, not ISP.
ISP is your internet service provide aka the company that provides your internet.

What happens if you only click once?
Does the page open after a couple of seconds or does it stay on the same page?

Clicking it a million times will only make it worse cause every time you click the tab it has to make a new connection/request to the gtp server and restart the download.

Here it takes up to 1,5 seconds for the page to show because it loads the page almost completely before it's visible.

i subconsciously hear my computer fart(and smell it too), and it sits there. then, about a minute after waiting, i then go left-mouse-button happy.(there should be a click happy smiley when you post a new reply/thread. mouse-button-machinegun-poke-fest... lol, i'm nuts.:lol:)
