Who's got the best lap time?

Just wondering guys, who has been able to do the best lap time on Monaco, with an untuned Polyphony 001.

I am currently racing it in automatic, and I can do a 1:14:191, but I am sure that 1:13's are possible. Has anyone got an amazingly low lap time?

Mantix, welcome to GTP! I don't own any F1 cars at the moment.

This post is more appropriate for the Spot Races and Lap Times board in the Online Racing forum. You can move it there yourself by clicking in the Admin Options menu st the bottom right, and selecting Move/Copy Thread. You may get better response in the new location.

HOW THE HELL!?

Ok, I thought i was fast, but now my world is shattered. I was thinking 1:12's would be the limit, but thats ludicrous.

I have a mate who is also reasonably good, and we stick to the standard controllers and untuned purely to have a little bit of competition (we are constantly giving each other stick about each others driving) and see who can do the best lap times.

Might have to start a new track now, I'm sure that 1:12:xx is possible in an auto, standard controller, on Monaco. Just needs to be the perfect lap.

GT-px Racer respond only please - Can you tell me how to keep the back end of my F1 on the ground at trial mountain? It seems very bouncy and hard to control.

:cool: yeah dude umm just go to settings and change the ratios around just a little for the final ratios and your spring rates are messed so see if you can change the spring rate to all the way up front if you need any help or dont get me email me and give me your email address and ill explain it better sorry if this isnt good enough talk to you later PEACE OUT!!!

I'd REALLY like to hear your sector times for your 58 second at TMT,.... cause the last thing you want at that track it tighten the springs. I don't think you ran it clean..... do you have a sharkport or x-port?
 
I run 25s on super speedway and about 1min on special stage route 11.

I don't have F1s either. My best Monaco time is 1:18.727 with the 787B. So if that gives any indication as to how I may be able to do with an F1, perhaps someone can tell me what that F1 time might be.

the f1 cars are real light and fast and excellent excellent turning so i think you could do way better with an F1 buddy ttyl bye ~simon

btw, do you know how daan is able to have the speedometer appear in mph when the version of the game is in kmh? lotus' 787b run shows in mph if i remember correctly.

I know ;) but I'm not telling!!











Oh, allright then. I'm using a saved game converted from NTSC to PAL. The major change is that it shows the speed in mph as opposed to km/h.

And to answer your next question. No, it doesn't do saved replays, only games.
