Who's played Painkiller? I think it's an awesome game! I think it's the most amusing game I've ever played. Very violent and funny at the same time. I'm just glad I've got quite a good PC to play it on (Inspiron 8600 with a Pentium 4 1.4 M-Prossessor which is equivelent to 2.38Ghz, 512mb ram and 9600 Pro Turbo Card). Well untill the PC plays up that is.

I've completed the whole game, all tarot cards and done it in the hardest mode. The mode was pretty hard. The Forest level stumped me for a day or so.

I haven't got the expansion pack yet but I will. I'm too tied up with GT4!

Yes,i played Painkiller. It's a fun game, something along the lines of Serious Sam but with modern graphics.

I played Battle out of Hell aswell and in my opinion the levels were more fun then in the oiginal game. The only thing i missed were those over the top bosses. They were fun to deal with.

It's boring, but you gotta love nailing zombies to walls, floors, etc. Shame you can't nail multiple zombies together though.

Just bought the expansion. Installing it now! :)

GT4 will have to wait. :)

I have it and its great. Well except the part I'm stuck at. I think its the first boss you go up against. The guy that does that tornado type attack.

I kept my distance and used the stake gun against him, the tornado attack can't reach you (I think :) ). If you run out of stake ammo risk going close to him and use the shotgun, then run away from him to aviod the attack. It's quite hard.

Indeed it is hard. I've done it numerous times and still cant get past it. I've tried the stake gun from afar but it doesnt look like it does anything to him.

What difficulty mode are you playing? What tarot cards are you using? I'll do it myself and tell the best way to do it.

lol i D/L'd the demo for this and thought it was a little rubbish. Serious Sam as a comparison was 10x better.

Can't fault it graphically though. It actually slowed my PC down, which hasn't happened ever and i've got games like Far Cry and Halflife 2. However I believe the slow down was probably due to the everlasting supply of rediculous creatures that we had to destroy with silly weaponry. The crossbow weapon had mega potential to be great, but just isn't. Sticking the enemies to walls with it a la HL2 would've have made the game actually worth playing, but they just exploded (the enemies).

Wouldn't buy it that's for sure.

That's one of the fun parts to it in my opinion. Watching blood and bodyparts flying everwhere. :D

Insomnia. None.

I just tried beating him and still failing. I've come very close but I still die.

O.K, this is how I beat him.

First thing, do you know the bunny hop technique? If not, you jump while you run so you move much faster.

When you start off, keep bunny hopping to the right untill you find some armour. Collect all the ammo on the way, you'll need it. It's a little way away but the armour is there.

Then keep your distance and keep fireing you stake gun at him. When you take half of his life and the boss brakes his chains off, run to the middle of the level where you will see lots of ammo and light things that give you life. Ignore the other monsters that chase after you, keep running away.

Keep fireing the stake gun at him untill he gets really close to you. Get the shotgun out and keep fireing. If he uses the tornado attack, try and land youself on the things that give you life so you wont die. Whatever you do keep fireing at him and defeat him quickly. If you're quick enough he will only use the tornado attack once.

That how I done it.

Wasn't that impressed with the demo I played but my bro recently bought it & the proper game seems alot better. Its nice to see theres a game out there thats doing original evil looking baddies that don't look utterly stupid :)

OMG. This has to be the most satisfying FPS I've ever played and I've been an FPS'er since ther original Doom, so that's saying alot. Blowing the enemies into little meat chunkies with the graphic quality all the way up is teh r0xorz! And you gotta love the HUGE bosses. It's an FPS first and last which is what you need to remember. It's pretty linear game but what it does, it does very well.
