Why are liveries and decals missing that people create?

Just noticed that I cannot find certain car liveries or decals and logos. I know they exist I would find them in the past and now when I look for them with the search feature they are not appearing. I search via type, keywords or car manufacturer etc and they still do not appear. For example my own creations do not appear also, if I search for Dodge Vipers since I like creating them and sharing them out mine do not appear at all. I checked and they still have that blue sharing icon yet only 60 vipers appear for me when I know there should be way way more for them and found some nice ones in the past and they vanished.

Same when I search for decals under viper used to get way more search outcomes than are appearing now. As a test I even checked my own created liveries and selected the repost option and again if I search for most recent or by car brand it still does not appear in the search feature. Same with other created and shared liveries from other users in this forum I cant find them too what gives is this a bug with GT servers?

Yup, it's way easier than trying to deal with the crappy in-game interface. The mobile version works quite well too!

Semi-related: I uploaded a decal earlier today but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is there something else I need to do after it uploads to the Decal List online? If I click the three dots in the top right the only option I have is to delete it.

You can only share it to the world from your PS4. Go to your library and press triangle, then share, enter tags, etc and you're done.

An extra note to this, its not done to anoy you, its done to verify the SVG works as it should. Your browser can render the SVG diffirent than GT would as you might have used a font the game doesnt know, or created something corrupted. By making sure you see the decal within GT once they are better ensured to prevent ugly decals from showing up.

I really wish PD could get the two to sync up in terms of how it looks. As my PS4 is in my lounge (downstairs) and my computer is in my office (upstairs)... it is a pain not knowing quite how somethings going to look once it's uploaded sometimes.

It depends on how you want the sync to happen. There are 2 things they can do:
- Convert the result to a png format and use this as representation back to you
- Try to mimic the svg rendering method the ps4 uses within your browser

The png things is something they could easily do (as its server side, they can exclude your pc from changing its result), and would at least help at detecting mistakes at least a bit sooner (al though i have no idea how heavy this actualy is for a server to do, since the images should at least be displayed at a reasonable resolution. Something like 1000x1000 so you can actualy see the details). But the SVG double rendering is something they should avoid. Its going to be a major problem since browsers can always adjust their rendering. And even then has no real ensurance that your pc hasnt been influencing the result anyway.
