Yesterday, I created a new PSN account for my good lady, then started a new game on GT5 for her. I sent her a Golf GTi and Yellowhat GT-R for the seasonal events so she had a bucket of money to begin with (plus rocketed to level 18 after only 2 races!).

But then something odd; she went to do a practice lap on Nürburgring only to find that all the lap times from MY game are listed there (meaning she won't even get on the board with any of her own times). Any idea why this is? Surely her game is HER game, totally separate from mine?

Instead of making an ill-advised quip about how women taking everything a man has has migrated toward GT5, I'll just tell you the truth about me having no idea, and that that's peculiar. I guess just reset the Lap Records.

Is it the same ps3? Maybe the game saves laptimes somewhere that isn't local to your GT Life mode. You should try beating one of the times on her game to see if it changes yours.

Her times WILL show up on his and visa versa.

This has happened to me as well with my brother and I. We play on the same PS3 albeit with different accounts. Since he max tunes his cars and I leave mine bone stock, I've had to resort to writing down my TGTT lap times! Thank god he hasn't memorized the 24h Nurburgring course!

I do wonder if you cleared the times, would it reset for both accounts?

Yeah it's the same PS3. I actually set up the new account to start a new game for myself, but use my old game to send cars for the seasonal events (to get a big C and XP boost to begin with), but she then wanted to 'play it herself' and so I thought "what the hell" and let her carry on...

She went to set her first lap on Nurburgring and almost burst into tears when she seen all my times clogging up 'her board' (she won't beat them) :D

I just deleted my times there and will check on her game to see if they are gone. It is a bit strange.
