Why are people collecting all the X1 colors?

I see in the marketplace that many people are collecting all the colors of the X1. This doesn't add up to me. I'm assuming anybody that has all the X1's will have mostly duped X1's. If you are going to have duped X1's anyway, why not just get a single colored X1 then dupe it multiple times and paint it yourself until you have all the colors. Am I missing something here?

Come on. No one can be naive enough to think they can get a garage full of colored X1's and not have glitched cars. Likely at least 80% of them, and possibly even 100%, will be duped.

X1's are more than likely duped but the whole garage being duped is not. Would take far too long with the trade limit to get all 1031 cars.

I meant all the X1's. Now that these things have been duped for weeks the vast majority have got to be duped. I'm guessing it's upwards of 90% of X1's that are duplicated.

People are colllecting all the X1 colours.... because they are collectors? The X1 is a mean machine and having many variations is nice.

I do have a few coloured X1s that are dupes, but at least I earned one of them myself via the challenge.

Besides, I am sure most X1 collectors won't care if they are duped anyhow. If you don't want duplicates or use any duplication method, you can silver the vettel challenge and/or grind all the way up to level 40 and save 20 mil for each colour. If people want to collect X1 via duplicates, its up to them.
