Why cant you sell cars?

I remember that one of the races in GT5, it was the first Costa di Amalfi (or however its spelled) in the special events area, and if you won it, it would give you an RSC Rally Raid car which you could sell for about a quarter million Credits. And you could do it as mny times as you pleased. So, why cant i sell my stupid Cobra 427 that i really dont need or want anymore? "It cannot be sold, Want to get rid of it anyways?" WELL, no, obviously not! But all the DN-X concepts, and the useless tank car... i want them sold! Even for 100 credits!
 
I agree. My Gallardo ran circles around the Veryron on the Daytona race, why would I want to keep a million dollar car if it isn't faster than any of my cheaper cars? I got some ugly Audi SUV concept I wish I could sell, theres no way I'll ever use it. My Buick Special was useful for a few races when I first won it, now its just taking space. I doubt I'll use my Furai any more, it's ugly and my ZR1 did a better job at winning races. I bet I could get a pretty penny for that car as well.

Also wondering why there are duplicate cars you win. Like the A and B spec Sport Truck series. What do you get in Aspec? Daihatsu Midget... Bspec? Another Daihatsu Midget, after I had to sit there forever and watch my driver slam on the brakes every time he lapped at Daytona...
 
The Audi pikes peak quattro is not a bad car... With max upgrades and soft race tires, they can out accelerate a stock Bugatti Veyron... for the first few seconds though lol (well atleast AI opponents :p)
 
Yeah, the game is shocking for winning crap cars that
1. Cannot be of any use in any race
2. Look hideous
3. Would be much better sitting at the bottom of a lake with the dude that decides the car prizes in the trunk

Of course, all is forgiven when you win the Minolta 88.... :) But its a long road to then. The best ridicolous prize car has to be the Lupo A Spec race. "Wonder what Im getting..... omg andother race lupo. My life is now completed."
