Dont bother
The reasoning behind somone limiting the rooms settings is very simple. To make races fair, varied, and to run something new. When you enter a room that is restricted to 650HP please keep in mind, its not meant for you to use the power limiter on your Viper ACR to get it in. Use cars that, when tuned to max are within the limits. When you are sifting through the list of rooms looking for one to join, you will be informed of any HP limits that are set for each room, if any. Please dont join a room set to a limit of 700HP and the first thing you say in the room is, "Can you raise the HP?" No we wont raise the HP we have it set for a reason. If you must use car well beyond the limits, please find one of the many many other rooms that have no limit set. Detuning your car from 900HP to 600Hp is not fair at all. It gives your car a flat HP curve (not really a curve anymmore is it). You max HP goes from, for the sake of arguement, 5700-5900 to 4500-7000. Which does not make for fair races. Just use a car under the limit when fully tuned. It seems too simple, guess thats why its so hard to get people to comply.

Another thing to add, R4: when you limit a car extensively, there will be a flat torque and horsepower curve, which isn't "fair."

EDITED. Thanks for the input swara96. Any other input fo me to add to OP please noone hesitate to let me know.
exactly, its quite annoying, last night there was an enzo running with us... i couldn't believe it.
Exactly kt, the limit was 502HP and he brings an Enzo. That, amongst other instances, is why I created this thread.

I posted in the other thread of we can up the limit for tonight but after reading this i think it's good if we leave like we said earlier, cool bro.

Like i said I'll be late but for sure will be joining.

You can select the cars that you want to be able to use, after those cars are selected you cannot run any other car. When in the restrictions, go to car restrictions and click garage to select the cars that are legal.

I tried this and you can only select the cars from the recommended list. You will not be able to select any cars from your garage.

All we really need is for people to see a 600Hp limit and say. Hmmmm I have a few cars under 600HP instead of Hmmmm how much restriction of my power do I need to do to get my GTR in here. Funny thing is when you restrict a high HP car to a low HP you lose a lot of high end torque. Soooo na na na, na na na, jokes on you!!!!

EDIT: Prime example, i was just in a room restricted to 769HP. We are running Supras, Ford Mustangs, and Jaguars. This guy comes out in a Ford GT No Stripe. There is no way we can keep up with the GT. To you sir I say how unsportsmanlike of you.
