why do we have to pay for dlc tracks that already in game

why do wew have to pay for dlc tracks that already in game and there's nothing to download. Don't make us pay for tracks that data is there and it was to been in the game from the start .the dlc is Probley all stuff was to be in the game from release. next update should be all the stuff that was planed from the start, its like ur paying to unlock it witch is crazy
 
I highly doubt Spa was in the game since release. maybe after 2.0 it was, so its money well spent. 👍
 
Why should we pay for a complete game to begin with? Why not just buy a pirate copy?

The 2.0 update had the track and car data. That way if you are racing someone that doesn't have the DLC they can still see your car on the track. Also with everyone having the track data you can run Spa or the Kart tracks in any lobby without worrying that some people might not have the content.
Keeps the online community whole
 
So you would rather pay $131.93 for a game with everything in it right out of the gate. And with that get no other updates, patches and changes that sometimes are requested.

spa was not inside the original game. it got patched with the 2.0 update. the reason PD did that because if you race somebody with the dlc but youhave not purchased it, the game will not be broken.
 
Change the thread title to one off paint chips and you may gain some sympathy.
 
DLC was included in the Spec 2.0 update which was obviously free. To unlock that we have to pay. I think the whole package should have been 5$ but no game dev would be so kind. For comparision sake Forza4 DLC of 10 cars is 7$ and the game was released last month. lol. I hope PD does not follow this tactics :nervous:
 
I think GT fans would pay 7$ for 10 brand new premiums. Not RM ones mind but new stuff.

May be but it is so cheap to make 10 cars for 7$ a month after the release of a game. Also Forza3 DLC track, nurburgring GP track was 5$.

It will be nice if PD do more updates and improve the game

They should have done a season pass kinda thing like forza 1 cost for all dlc plus, 6 forza dlcs combined is appx 42 i payed 29 why cant gt5 be like that

There are many ways to sell and market products. Just because one company did it a certain way, doesn't make that the right way to do it.

I'm quite sure PD doesn't give a hoot what you think; they care what their Accounting Department thinks.
 
Maybe you need to look at it in a different light. We payed $12 for 3 tracks, 29 cars, 100 paint chips, and 90 suits and helmets. That works out to 222 items at 18.5 cents ea.

Are you sure your math is correct?


$12/100=12c(this is if the paints cost $12) so your math is already wrong i think it is more 5.4c per item for Americans.

And 8.5c for Australians(we have the 175% Australians pay extra tax).

And didn't the DLC give 15 cars?

So that is 6.2c for 208 items for America.
And 9.1c for Australia.

Already in the game aren't they.
There upgraded versions of cars already present if I'm not mistaken.
Didn't know there was 29.

Why do you have to pay for stuff that you can get for free, pirated?

Oh... forgot. That was already said. But just in case you don't know the answer: Because somebody worked on it, and those somebodies have to be paid.

Otherwise: Why should anyone have to pay YOU to work? :D

Besides... this isn't an entirely original question.

New dlc , is it worth it ?

SONY taking the p with uk dlc price!!

Hence, sorry... goes in the clean-up pile.
