Nearly everytime i post a reply, i constantly find myself signed out again and again and again!

It happens at least every 5 minutes, sometimes every 2 minutes. I had to make half of this post first re-sign in and edit with the other half. I if i add more than 2 or 3 lines at a time, it signs me out again! I've never known any other website that does this.

To say it's highly frustrating is an understatement!

That does sound very frustrating, but it shouldn't be happening.

Your browsing session, which keeps you signed in to your account, is identified by a cookie stored in your web browser. What type of web browser are you using? Do you have another browser you could use, to see if it happens to you with it as well? Have you always experienced this problem? If not, when did it start?

YES! It happened from the very start, but only after 20 minutes or so. It's gradually got worse to the point where i have to save/edit every 2 minutes! (better do it now before it signs me out AGAIN!)

I'm using google chrome, the best browser there is, so i don't see how using a different browser would be in any way beneficial.
Yeah, it's so frustrating that it deters me from using the site at all, because it's just not worth the hassle. What's even more frustrating is that it doesn't seem to affect anyone else. :grumpy: (saved again here)

But wait. Here's something even more strange. Over the past few days, i've been posting on forums at length without any issues, so i presumed the problem had been fixed. Now it's stuffing up again.. Every 2 minutes!

Yeah, that's not normal. Something is wrong with your browser and the way it's handling cookies.

Could you answer the other questions I asked above?

Did you shower today? Could be that and gtplanet's trying to give you a hint?

;)

I believe i have answered them all. Which question have i missed?
He means did you experience that issue while replying to him :bless:

It sounds very much like a cookie issue to me. Regardless of your opinions of browsers, try using a different browser just to see if the problem persists. Also, if possible, try logging on from a different computer in your house or on your local network at least.

You edited your post since I replied to you, so I didn't see your other answers.

Regardless, please test another browser and see if it continues to occur. The point is to identify the source of the problem - whether there's some type of issue with Chrome or if there's something on your computer which is deleting cookies every few minutes.

When you sign in, do you tick the "Remember Me?" option?

Sorry, I had to.

On topic: Have you tried reinstalling it? I remember back when my Chrome had issues, all I had to to is reinstall.
