Why does it always go back to the main menu?

Is it just me, or is anyone else infuriated by the fact that every time you end anything, you go back to the main menu.

Surely PD would have realised that this was a problem....

I was just coping with it, but have now started to look at the replays in the 'ranking' screen and it gets worse.. Every time you finish a reply, it automatically goes back to the main menu.. And to make matters worse, when you go back into the 'ranking', everything is gone back to default, so you have to select the car, track, mode and physics again to get back to where you were.

This is basic menu functionality and I can't believe its like this!

I really hope that PD bring out a patch soon, which addresses some of the minor niggles, as well as some of the big ones!

To be honest I find the load time ok, but one thing that does irritate me is when i want to check if a car is eligable I have to load up the race screen read the list of cars, then go buy the car, then go back to the screen (only to realise I bought the wrong one).
 
The navigation is pretty irritating but loads times are pretty good :) Still cant find the option to turn the sounds down :( only the BGM en Soundeffects :/
