So i just got my g27 on friday and ive noticed that when i drive in a straightaway at over 100ish mph that my wheel will wobble back and forth.
it doesnt matter on any road it cant be flat or bumpy it will wobble a lot
i have put the power steering off with has helped and ive turned the force feedback down to one.
do your g27's do this?
and is there a fix to it?

It's normal, Logitech wheels have a dead zone in the middle, no way to fix it.

Yeah, I highly doubt that the Logitech G25 or G27 wheels will be fully configured, but hopefully PD will put some sort of deadzone sensitivity settings for any wheels.

My friend who has a G27 as well, has the same issue, but he is going to have to deal with it.

This has nothing to do with any kind of dead zone. Notice Gt5 ffb is connected to the G-force meter. The advantage of GT 5 FFB is you can feel the slightest shift in weight when your wheel is at center. The down side is g-force can quickly shifts left to right back to left with little wheel input. What you feel is the car's weight shifting from left to right to left. The more grip the tires have and more speed the car has the smaller wheel input required to shift the car's weigh. Thus X1 sways more than any other car in the game.
A trick is not to try to hold the wheel at dead center but instead try to hold the wheel just right or left of center. This helps keep the weight from shifting to the other side so much.
P.S Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I remember reading that T500RS doesn't totally depend on the software ffb to center it's wheel. So T500RS doesn't have this problem. If true this would also reduce the lag between the wheel and software.

even when i hold the wheel the absolute hardest i can itll wobble

That's because it's practically impossible to hold the wheel in the exact spot where it won't wobble, given that the resolution is very, very high. This is something that annoys me about GT5, one of the three things (the others being AI and lack of events) in fact, because the faster a car is going, the more stable it should technically be because of the gyroscopic effect of the wheels, if the track is smooth enough.

Ive got a G25, and I have my ffb set to about 2-3. I cant temember the wheel getting wrenched out of my hand, apart from when im in the x2010 where I unplug the poerw lead!

I think the DFGT has the same problem but on FFB 10 it's easily controlable..
