why does the tyre/fuel depletion not work in a spec free run

i just noticed today as i usually do the one make race in a spec just to spend some time getting used to my new car and so on

then i decided to just do couple laps myself and to my dissapointmetn you cant put the tyre/fuel depletion and you cant change weather and time like you can do in your my lounge and the point of this is you can do it in my lounge a spec one make and the races but not the actual races and events your doing very strange 👎

is there any way to turn these features on or is this another let down by PD and kaz
