Why doesn't my XJ13 Race car work in the Historic Racing Car Cup?

I downloaded the car using the code from the facebook page found here

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=135391

When I try to enter said event with the car, it says I need one from 1979 or earlier which this car is from. But it won't let me enter.

Maybe because it is a stealth model.

What is stealth mode? I've seen it mentioned so many time and have searched for the definition but to no avail.

It is a Chromeline car so it isn't eligble for the historic races as it's considered a "new" car.
