Why don't we have more F1 lobbies?!

I don't get why we don't have more Ferrari F1 lobbies. I know that you can only use them with certain limits on, but I think having F1 lobbies would be more fun than drag or cop lobbies. In my opinion, I think they are underrated and we should have more F1 servers. What do you think?

With only 2 F1 cars to choose from, it's no surprise to me that they aren't particularly popular.
It's similar to Rally in that respect, due to the lack of support for the "Genre" from PD it's overlooked by most.

If you're looking to have more F1 lobbies, why not make your own?

You being from America, will probably be on the search setting to find races in your region, if you set the race preferance to world wide you WILL find more. I find lots of them when I search world wide. A big problem with the F1 in GT5 is the fact there is only 2 (different years) and that makes it kind of boring.

Coffeedrinker - The fact that it's such an expensive car makes it hard to get a good following.
Plus, the fact that you only get two cars from the same manufacturer - and you can only use them on their own - makes it slightly uninteresting.

I personally don't see the appeal of racing F1 cars, all with identical colours/liveries.
It's different with the Formula GT, because at least they have alternate visuals.

He was quintessentially picking on the OP - because the OP got fed-up with the attitude people used against him; so he made a thread stating that he was leaving GTPlanet.

The only reason Mitch would possibly bring that up - is to be petty and childish*.

I guess because if people want to race F1 "properly', they buy the F1 game? It's the route I took. Same goes for Nascar and Rally, I bought the dedicated games for the fuller experience.

GT5 is "Jack of all trades, master of none" in some respects.

If someone announced they were leaving GTPlanet and posted a new thread I'd be curious as to why as well. You're making assumptions and being pretty "childish" about it yourself, especially considering the first part of his post was an extrememly helpful response to his OP.

As for the OP, I'd imagine it's much like others have suggested: with an almost non-existent variety it's really no surprise they're not more popular.
