Why have they made arcade track selection like that?

Is it just me? Or does anyone else think its ridiculous the way its organised? Surely they should just let you pick a track, then pick which variation of that track, then pick the weather, and finally pick the time of day.

Evidently, they want you to EARN the right to play a certain track they way you want to. Doesn't seem to much like arcade does it?

Probably did it because it looks like we have more tracks this way.

I thought the same.

"It takes a lot to navigate the track list! There really must be a lot of them!"

I would have organized the list so that players first select the unique track (or environment as some like to say), then the variation, then track options to decide to enable reverse, select the time of the day, weather and other options, if applicable.

For Example:

City Tracks >
City Tracks > Special Stage
City Tracks > Special Stage > Clubman Stage Route 5
City Tracks > Special Stage > Clubman Stage Route 5 > Reverse, Change Weather/start Rain, Change Time/start 22:30, crowds: yes

That just made too much sense. There is no way PD would wanna do it that way cause.... cause.....

Shouldn't you be asking PD?

I would if I could. But they don't seem to have a "suggstions for improvement" section on their website. That might be a good idea. So I'm writing it here, hoping that Polyphony reads this forum, seeing as this seems to be the main GT5 forum.
