Why I don't play any F1 game onlineF1 2019

I just thought I'd do a bit of F1 2019 spectating as this weekend is an F1 free weekend, just to get my fix you understand. So I find a well populated room, join as a spectator, and this travesty ensues



Ok, I'll admit this is unranked in F1 2019, and maybe this was the whole point of this "room", but seriously.

On a lighter note I did actually p*** myself laughing while watching it.
 
nope, F1 online play is pretty bad, people who complain about GTS need to come over to F1 and have a crack......
 
Yet to buy because of this.
I have come to the opinion that you needed to play these as video game racing and not real racing.
That means instant penalties for causing a crash, strict track limits and ghosting for dangerous driving. Basically GTS.
GTS is not perfect by any means but the racing can be amazing.
 
This is why I don't touch unranked. Ranked matches are still a gongshow, but not this bad.
 
I've had good experiences in the ranked lobbies. I'm slow but its been decently matched and clean.
 
That driver did what it took to WIN. What a killer instinct and amazing lap times! :D

GTS is far from being functional in its current form.
