Ah but according to the specs on this monitor it uses DVI input. I believe this means you could hook it up to a PC?? Sage correct me if I'm wrong.

I STILL like the 92 inch ( 6400 x 1200 pixels.) ONLY $17999.99 ;)

Yup, you're right. :) You do need a special graphics card to handle the 30", but I *think* the other two can work just fine with most anything.

The clarity and brightness from projectors is generally pretty weak. It would be much easier to see what is actually in the frame you're editing when using a high res monitor.

Thats why I want a better one, I saw one that displays video perfectly even with all the lights on. Anyway I'm sure that one is way more expensive, but this projector would be in a custom made entertainment room (no windows hahaha) and be hooked up to the computer satelite, xboxb, ps2 etc. :)

Checking Apple's website, it says that the 3 larger screens (20", 23" and 30") all use DVI, which is common, but not the default, on most PC video cards (My Radeon8500 has anologue and DVI, and I'm on a PC.) It looks like the only one that uses Apple's special connection is the 17" (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=M7649ZM/B)? The difference between the 20" and the 23" from the 30" is that the 30" requires "DVI standard dual link digital signal specification", which the special video card is the only one that has this capability as of now.

But, yeah, it would be NICE to have an apple display, really nice. The display's got to be a lot better than what's on normal LCD displays if the 17" costs $700 US when you can get a SamSung 17" that looks nice priced at $400.

It's true, you could find a high end digital projector that has great clarity for large pictures. You still have to keep the room dark though.

I think the digital projectors they use for movie theaters cost somewhere around $70,000 US. That's just kindof a figure I heard though, it might not be that.

I was at Future Shop today, and I played around with the new 20" LCD iMac, damnit, that screen was so clear! It was perfect, I couldn't stop looking at it. I've used LCD screen's before but damn, that was just mind-boggling. 👍
