Why is all of the site, currently not showing styles or scripting?

Since I'm obviously not a website developer-savvy individual, I have no idea in regards to the lingo that should be used here.. Lol, so please forgive me.

Okay, so I've tried this now on three different computers/devices now: My Google CR-48 Chrome Laptop, my iPad, and on my 2.3 gingerbread Android phone, running Dolphin Browser HD.

All three of the above mentioned methods, is resulting in the extremely bland/simple web page structure, no style sheets/JavaScript flashy looking graphics, just question marks everywhere, and a plain white background, with a plain generic font.

Is this just me, or is the site acting up this evening? I haven't seen a thread or topic yet, this evening, describing my same issues, so hence why i am posting my question(s) regarding this, here :) lol

Help!?

WTF? :lol: Okay, now it's working correctly...? Sorry... But i guess the little smilies aren't working still? Hmm... This is odd..

(and ps, YES, I've cleared my cache, cookies, history, and everything else, with every try on the aforementioned devices.... I AM that literate, at least ;) lol)


EDIT: it's off and on, acting up like this.. Ugh :(

It happens to me sometimes, all the images just randomly don't load. Never worked out what caused it, some refreshing usually fixes it for me.
 
Yeah, I've tried just about everything I can think of... Frst time, this has EVER happened to me here. Rubbish :(

Have you tried clearing your cache?
 
Try the link that Owen provided there and see if you can access that page. Most of the images and stylesheets (your technical vocabulary is actually spot on!) are served from a separate network of content delivery servers (cache.gtpla.net), and if it is happening on all your devices, I would say your ISP is having trouble reaching your local server.

Here's another test: you mentioned it also looks broken on your Android phone - was your phone also on your local WiFi network at the time? Try disabling WiFi on your phone and loading GTPlanet over your cellular data connection and see what happens.
 
Thanks for the responses guys, sorry I couldn't respond sooner, I've had a pretty busy day.

Regarding that link, yes it works... (just a long list of raw CSS coding.. Am I right?)

And regarding, my android phone over wifi, I has tried both 3G cellular, as well as my wifi.


It seems to be looking okay today, so far.. So I guess that's a good thing! :lol:
I don't mind the appearance of the broken links/coding like it was yesterday, it's really just more difficult to navigate and post, that's all :)
