Why is he invisible?

I'm doing a photoshoot at the moment, and there is a guy who is invisible.

Because he's invisible it always causes crashes and stuff.

He's a cool guy and he does try to drive without accidents, so I don't want to ban him from the photoshoots but it does make things really messy. Does anybody know how to fix this so he can still play with us?

I can see him, and another guy, but 5 of the other races can't see him on the track (either in the named list, or see his car.)

I was thinking maybe NAT type? I have no idea.

it's called desynchronization and it's a fairly common occurrence in GT5 online mode (as well as in plenty of other online games).

He's either on a crappy connection (most likely wi-fi) or hasn't configured his router properly so just give him the boot (in a shared online environment such as unfixed host rooms he's detracting from everyone else's experience since people have to connect to him as well).

Yeah, i've experienced that before. We used to call it "we're driving on the same track, but different dimension" lol

I guess that was a connection issue.

He should try to restart his PS3 as well as his router/modem to see if its helps

If not, try clearing the GT5 cache from the options menu

im usually the invisible guy. I think its because im on the east coast an the guys i play with are west side
