Why is the One-Make-Race car selection so small and will it be broadend?

A lot of people like to play with an even playing field and the quickest way to do this is trough the one-make option in the lobby settings.
But why are there so few cars on the list?
Why have 1200 cars in the game when there are only ~30 available to choose from?
Will the selection be expanded in the future?

We should simply be able to choose the field in a self created race that pays credits. This should include the OPTION to match exactly the specification of the car you want to drive. That way if you have a fully modified car you don't end up getting to race against stock versions of your car if you don't want to.

I completely agree with this question. Why don't we at least have half of the premium cars in that list?

Bring back manufacturers' races. Go into the dealership and have a selection of races for that particular manufacturer and award price cars

For as much as that got annoying in GT2, I am VERY glad to see it again as a seasonal, and would love to see it expanded!

This idea could be applied to online lobbies or in single player mode.

Another one of my wish list;

28) 1 Make Races Online: Why is the amount of courtesy cars for 1 Make Races so limited? Is there any reason why you give us such a small selection? It is a real step back from GT5 where we had many more to choose from, & lots of people are disappointed as a result. Please, make all cars available to us for 1 Make Racing online. Or at the very least give us a wider selection to choose from, & then change the line up once a month to keep things fresh.
