Or why isn't shuffle more populated. I generally have a couple choices that populate my list and there consistently the same ones repeated. Does no one play shuffle? Or am I just not locating the rooms. It's hard to find a decent shuffle room, if not impossible at times.

I enjoy Shuffle racing, too, and I agree that sometimes it can be hard to find a good Shuffle room. It would be great if PD added the ability to sort online rooms by the Shuffle category. Then, I wouldn't have to keep hitting triangle so many times to refresh the list to find one.

Most shuffle rooms are dirty,

Most room's are dirty. Normal or Shuffle. At least in shuffle, everyone has a similar car and a host who can't manipulate the regs to his tune.

2 Replies. that explains it. Shuffle is not popular I guess. Kind of makes me wonder how popular the game is online period. because there's no draw to the normal rooms either. Lots of them thinly populated ones for the most part.

I host a shuffle lobby every day from 11am to 1pm. Usually quite full. If you want to take part feel free to send a friend request.

I feel I'm a fair host. Tracks are voted by everyone in the lobby, no matter if it's a snow or dirt. We do 2 races on each track and a race is 3laps long (nurb is an exception). Any wreakers/laggers or just bad drivers will be kicked out of the server if several complaints arise. Last thing, shuffle rating is on 5 and PP can change from 500 down to 400 by request.

Cool, Thanks 11-1 in Scotland right?

Yes, sorry forgot about time zones.

Guess might be abit early for you Americans being 5hours behind.

Hmmmn. get up early or stay up extra late. Might try to make it sometime. 6-8 is kind of tough though.

I just hosted a shuffle room and it was nearly full (16 players) for 6-7 hours straight. That right there tells you there is a demand for shuffle rooms.

Have you ever thought of hosting one yourself? As long as there aren't many shuffle rooms already on your list, it will probably fill up quickly like mine did.

Shuffle rooms ALWAYS fill up quick, it's just hard to find them at times. I'm guessing a lot if people don't know how to set up one maybe?

Up until 2 months or so ago I didn't even know what shuffle racing was. I ended up going to a shuffle room and I absolutely love it. Clean, realistic and competitive driving is all I have found in shuffle rooms. Great times.

I've been out of town working for a week and a half. I miss gt5 and my sim racing chassis. Going to fire up a shuffle room or enter a shuffle room if I find one as soon as I get home

For the Americans,

Aswell as the lobby at 11am, I'll be hosting one at 12am aswell.
if you're interested, send me a friend request with the message "shuffle" lobby.

I've definitely noticed a drop in the number of shuffle rooms lately. Is there a new fad?

The interesting thing is that after Spec 2.0, there was a big increase in Shuffle rooms due to the new features that were added (selectable PP, updated cars, etc.), but I've noticed a slight drop-off again recently.

We need to be able to sort by Shuffle rooms the same way we can by tracks. That would make it a ton easier to find them. :)

I still see 3-5 rooms up a night and usually only 2 are pretty full. But i too have notice a drop in the amount of player in the shuffle rooms. Something else Ive noticed is that because of the shuffle ratio guys are racing 1 race when they get in. The ratio puts them at the top of selection. They place high or in first, then leave the room and come back so they dont get pushed to the bottom of the ratio and end up in the middle or end of the pack.

I Use Shuffle if im bored of choosing a car...I will be hosting more (:
