So I am convinced that PD hates Formula 1. I am an F1 fanatic, but GT5 is not worth it if that's what you are looking for. I just bought this car knowing that you can not use it in any A-spec or B-spec or special events. That didn't bother me since I mainly race split screen with friends. I even have two wheels as this is how much I love split screen racing.

So I buy the Ferrari F10 take it out for a practice run (which is all you can do) and I'm very surprised how easy it handles. Anyways, so I am very excited to do a little split screen with my daughter and much to my surprise... YOU CAN'T USE THE F10 IN SPLIT SCREEN!!!:mad::mad: Come on PD! What the hell is the point of this car then? Why spend so much time making it a premium when its pretty much just a paper weight? Seriously am I missing something here? Can you really not do split screen with the F10?:boggled:

On another note. I haven't done extensive testing on this yet, but I am finding the F10 way easier to drive in GT5 then it is in F1 2010 by Codemasters and this is with all assists off in both games. Don't get me wrong though, I love GT5 and will always have a place in my heart for it. But if you want F1 you are way better off buying F1 2010 by Codemasters. I just wish they had split screen in that game too!

You know whats even worse? I transferred my F2007 from GTPSP to GT5. YOu know, all GTPSP cars are standard...But I can`t even use this F2007 standard in splitscreen mode!

Yeah, PD is sometimes so full of fail...

OP

Your own post seems to have answered your problem. If you are a F1 fanatic then yes, surely an actual F1 game would be more suited to you??

Gran Turismo is a game that is based on mainly road cars and examples of non F1 race cars, from a variety of difference classes and championships, and some rally cars. This is how it's always been since GT1 through to GT5.

Well, it's obvious the game isn't an F1 game. The question is more of a: why is that car in the game at all if you can only use it in one or two specific situations?

Yeah I know its more of a road car game, but like freedomweasel said "Why is that car in the game at all then?"

My guess is the money hungry Bernie Ecclestone had something to do with it hahaha
