Seriously?. Not only is it absolute rubbish but it's not even the newer model?. And who would actually waste 43,260 credits on one?. What would you use it for and why would you want one to collect anyway?. There is way more important or better standard cars that could of been made premium over this car. Maybe Kaz has a soft spot for it?. Or maybe his wife has one.

I like it... although they should at least give us the 180hp version not the standard lol...

and I did spend cr.43,000 on one lol :dopey:

OP, there are probably a few WTH cars in your garage (from the perspective of other players)...

where did you get the info on what cars there making premium?

I read somewhere (can't remember where exactly) that it took 6 months to do the 'Premium' render on each car. I presume that's what the OP is referencing when he points out that (iho) the 307CC wasn't worth the pixels it was rendered on.

Agree with the OP... It does seem strange to put that much work into a car like that, especially considering some of the cars that aren't Premium (Veyron, FGT, Countach etc. etc.)

Why would you assume that if the 307cc wasn't Premium a different car would be?

Dont even mention the Prius! Why is that car a premium?? Geez, I'm all for going green and all but in the game, I couldnt care less on how big my carbon foot print is. lol

You're still assuming that they could have made a different car Premium. This is the same assumption as "Why is x car in the game when y car is better/more important and could have been there instead?".

There's no safe basis for assuming that PD could have made any other car Premium instead of the 307cc.

If you owned the car for real it'd be a different story.

I have a BMW 530D but i don't expect that to be in the game even as standard. Same with the 307 CC. If they were gonna put one in the game you would think it would be the much better looking and much more important WRC version?

I lot of things contribute to what the OP says, I don't think he means that the 307cc is a bad car, it's just that the delays, the premiums X standard issues, the large focus on JDM cars, it's these tiny issues that makes us think did I really need to have 307cc instead of say, a Veyron or a Countach or maybe the Sauber C9.

Exactly. I'm saying we don't need this car premium as much as other cars.

And why is there 2 Suzuki Swifts?

Why the assumption that if you didn't get the 307cc as Premium you would get a different car? It is not a sound assumption to make.

Because there are.

Look, it's relatively simple. Every car in GT is in there because
  • PD knew about it and
  • PD wanted it in the game and
  • PD had a licence to use that car and
  • PD had access to that car to model and
  • The model was completed before the game was released

Every car not in GT is not in there because
  • PD didn't know about it or
  • PD didn't want it in the game or
  • PD didn't get a licence to use that car or
  • PD didn't have access to that car to model or
  • The model wasn't completed before the game was released

What the car list in the game represents is every car they could get in the game. The Premium list represents every car they could make Premium. They haven't made a car Premium they didn't need to and they haven't not made Premium a car that they could have. No car is excluded from either the car list or the Premium list for the inclusion of a different one.

Why is the 307cc Premium? Because they knew about it, wanted it, got a licence for it, got a real one and completed the model before the game was released. Why isn't the Countach Premium? Because they didn't know about it or didn't want it or didn't get a licence for it or didn't get a real one or didn't complete the model before the game was released (since we know the first three aren't true, it's one of the last two). Why isn't the Koenigsegg in the game? Because they didn't know about it or didn't want it or didn't get a licence for it or didn't get a real one or didn't complete the model before the game was released (since I'd doubt a company known for encyclopaedic car knowledge neither knew about nor wanted the Koenigsegg, it's one of the last three).

All that not having a Premium 307cc would mean is not having a Premium 307cc - and I'd rather have a car to drive than an empty space.

My bad i thought you were refering to NEW premium cars they were going to add.

Having driven a 308CC in real life on Friday, and realised it's just as horrible as a regular 308, I'm now thinking it's worth missing out on the 1000 car trophy just to make a stand against the inclusion of such carp.

Also seems abit pointless that there is 2 Cappuccino things?

Exactly. I'm saying we don't need this car premium as much as other cars.

And why is there 2 Suzuki Swifts?

The visual difference between the Swifts (Side repeaters moved to the mirrors) and the Cappuccinos (Tail lights) would have taken virtually no extra time to model. This means that even if they excluded them it would be unlikely that you would have gotten any extra Premiums, or if you did it would probably be another couple of simple facelift cars.

As to why the 307cc made it in, who knows, but personally I like GT because of its mix of ordinary pedestrian cars and performance cars. So I'm happy that cars like this are included.

Would you crawl out of his ass?
Any single car in this came could be made premium instead of the other. It would take roughly the same amount of work and time. The OP is merely stating that that Work/Time/Space on the disk could have been put to MUCH better use. I mean come on, just let the guy complain. He has a right to his opinion.

Take it or leave it. I think it's a pleasant car actually. Unlike you ungrateful brats that coop up stupidly at home playing Forza or Gran Turismo, trolling. Go exercise or help your mom go marketing. We don't need you in the GTPlanet Universe. You don't choose if you want this car or not. It's like forcing the rest of your family to eat porridge if you are sick. For PD, majority wins. All of us think that we don't like it, they delete it.

Most of the premium cars were not in GT4 and many were in GT5P. Its my guess that money from manufacturers may have been the reason for selection.

You can bet on your guess. The Premium car showcase is a marketing platform for car manufactures in first place instead a collection of awesome cars for a racing videogame.

It doesn`t look like PD was indepentent for a bunch of decisions because companies which provided money and licenses had a influence.
