Why we cannot have a night races in Nascar ?

Hi there,

I was wondering why PD is not creating a night race for the Nascar online races, I mean will be really great to see the Daytona or Indy tracks fully at night and get illuminated by the powerful lights of the track.

I mean night races happen in Nascar, why this is not possible in the game ?

I do not know how to make a poll here but I would like to know how many people agrees with me, who knows maybe PD really cares about their customers. :):):)

Only one of those two tracks has lights and that's Daytona (Indianapolis doesn't have lights as far as I know). I wonder if it would be too much to ask for both Daytona tracks to have a day/night cycle.

I'm surprised that the PDs have forgotten the famous race at night in daytona! :banghead:
 
It would be nice I suppose, but I'd rather PD added new tracks to the game rather than adding Night Options to existing tracks.

I agree with Matty, however it would be really cool if they did introduce this. But in my opinion newer tracks and original tracks that haven't been made or are in the process, should be given priority by PD.
 
If they add a night/day cycle for Daytona (both variations), they could also include a new endurance race "the 24 hours of Daytona".
 
Night racing at Daytona would be awesome but more importantly I want PD to introduce the Daytona 2010 (the resurfaced Daytona) more than than anything. That will really change Nascar Racing on Daytona.
 
I doubt GT5 Daytona is anywhere near as bumpy as pre-resurfaced Daytona, although I suppose the resurfacing added grip overall too.

It would be a crime to add night Daytona without time cycle Road Course Daytona... but then we'll complain that the chicane is wrong and that there are no DPs.
 
2011 Daytona night would be brilliant.
 
Actually, I find it strange that not all races have night condition options.
 
You could use a race track that already has a night option. I know it's not a genuine NASCAR track, but it's better than nothing.
 
Night NASCAR races on ovals have very good illumination, contrarily to Special Stage R5, 7, Nuerburgring and La Sarthe.
 
For all we know there could be a crew from PD at Daytona right now.( highly unlikely but we can wish.) I am surprised that grounds crew people dont say when video game makers are on/at the track.
 
This would be a great addition to GT5 but like others have said, I'd rather have more dlc tracks or more cars than updating the tracks already in the game. I think it would be awesome if Infineon or Watkins Glen were added.
 
I just wish that all tracks had time and weather. It sounds especially nice for the Top Gear track and Daytona. The Top Gear test track isn't the same without rain and Daytona isn't the same without night.
